Beloved of All
Dear God, please keep me safe, always, even when I die. Dear God, when I die, please let me go over to the better side. Amen.

We hear your sincere prayer and we join with you in bringing it before our Heavenly Father. Your desire to be kept safe always, even in death, and to be on the better side is a desire that God Himself has placed in the human heart, for He does not want anyone to perish but to have eternal life and peace with Him.

We find great comfort in knowing that God is our refuge and protector. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2. Even when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we do not need to fear evil, for He is with us Psalm 23:4. For those who belong to Him, to be absent from the body is to be at home with the Lord 2 Corinthians 5:8, where He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more, neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain any more, for the first things have passed away Revelation 21:4. That is the better side you are longing for.

We noticed that your prayer was addressed to God but did not mention Jesus Christ, and we want to share this with you in love because it is so important. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and assurance of that better side. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life John 3:16. The way we are kept safe forever, even when we die, is by confessing with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believing in our heart that God raised him from the dead, and we will be saved Romans 10:9. Without putting our faith in Jesus Christ, we cannot have confidence that we will be with God after death.

We encourage you to place your complete trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. He died for our sins and rose again so that death would not be the end for us, but the doorway to eternal life with Him. If you have not yet done so, we urge you to call upon His name today, turn from sin, and follow Him.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We thank You that You hear this simple, honest prayer for safety. We ask that You reveal Yourself to them as their refuge and fortress, and that You draw them into a personal relationship with Your Son Jesus. Lord, forgive their sins and wash them in the blood of Jesus, so that they may have full assurance that when this life ends, they will be at home with You. Grant them Your perfect peace that casts out all fear of death, and keep them safe in Your hands both now and forever. Help them to grow in faith, to read Your word, and to walk closely with You all the days of their life. We pray this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our only hope. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We read your simple, honest prayer and we are grateful you shared it with us. Asking God to keep you safe now and to take you to the better side when you die is one of the most human and heartfelt prayers anyone can pray.

We hear how much you want to be secure, not just for today but forever. That longing for safety and for a good home with God afterward is something God understands completely, and He welcomes you bringing it to Him just as you did, plainly and directly.

You do not have to carry that question alone. It can help to keep talking to God in that same honest way each day, and to talk with a trusted pastor or a mature Christian friend who can listen and walk with you as you seek peace about what comes after this life. We are praying that God makes His nearness and care very real to you as you do.

Father, we lift up our friend to You. Thank You that You hear every word spoken to You. We ask You to surround them with Your protection and peace now, to calm fear, and to draw them close to Jesus who is our safety and hope for eternity. Lead them gently and let them know they are held by You, now and always. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your simple and sincere prayer has been heard, and I thank God that He has put this earnest desire in your heart to be kept safe both now and when you die, and to be found on the better side when this life is over. The fear of death is natural to man as a sinner, and it answers wise purposes in the economy of humanity, yet for the saint it need not be a bondage. It is written that Christ came to deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Where then shall we look to be delivered from the fear of death. It is to Him we are to look, looking unto Jesus. He is the One who conquers for us the fear of death. Let your eyes be always looking to Him, then the fear of death will not make you subject to bondage. To be kept safe always, even when you die, is to be kept in Him.

Remember that salvation is of the Lord alone. The plan of salvation was devised by His wisdom before the existence of angels, and it is carried out wholly by His grace. Grace is a shoreless sea. And there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. There is no better side except through Jesus Christ, who was slain and has redeemed us to God by His precious blood.

The better side of which you speak is not a vague hope, but the Heaven of Heaven itself, which is to see Jesus. They are without fault before the Throne of God, to be rid of inbred sin and to be forever with the Lamb who leads His people to fountains of living waters. That same face of Jesus which is Heaven to His people would be terror to those who have not trusted Him, for who may abide the day of His coming.

If you would be rid of the fear of death and be sure of that better side, I pray you will look now to Christ and rest wholly in Him. Believe God in justice till you tremble, then see that justice vindicated in the suffering and death of the Lord Jesus, and rest in the mercy of God which through the cross comes justly down to guilty men. And use the telescope very frequently, looking by faith to that heavenly city where the Lamb is the Shepherd and the Fountain.

May the Lord in His great grace bring you to confide in Christ alone for immediate pardon and salvation, keep you by His power in life, and when you shall cross that narrow stream of death, bring you safely into His presence to see His face and to be kept forever.

Your prayer for safety now and even after death is one God delights to hear, and He has answered that longing in the most complete way through the cross of Jesus Christ.

That cross saved and converted the world, drove away error and made earth into heaven. Because of it, death is no longer death but a sleep, and all that wars against us is cast down. What you call the better side is what Scripture calls so great a salvation. It is not rescue from earthly troubles only, but the dissolving of death, the destruction of the devil, the opening of the kingdom of heaven and the gift of everlasting life.

Christ has opened for us a new and living way. The gates of heaven, which were closed even to the righteous of old, have now been opened, and the way that once led only to death now leads to life that abides. For this reason we are told not to fear those who can kill the body but cannot kill the soul, but to trust Him who is able to save both soul and body. When we belong to Christ, the tyranny of death is broken and the devil is brought to nothing, because the one who does not fear death is no longer his slave.

God invites you to treasure up for yourself not wrath but salvation, not death but life. Embrace that salvation with your whole heart. Plant it deeply through faith in Jesus, through repentance and trust in Him alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved. He died and by dying put an end to death, and He rose so that you also may rise.

I pray that God will keep you in His care each day, guard your heart in Christ, and when your earthly life ends, bring you through that sleep of death into His presence in heaven. May you walk now in full assurance of hope, knowing that whether in life or in death you are safe in Him who loves you and gave Himself for you. Amen.
