AMEN

Your prayer has been heard and I join you in bringing it before God with thanksgiving. It is good that you turn to Him and ask, for He is near to all who call upon Him in truth through Jesus Christ, who alone is the way to the Father.

Scripture teaches us that God does hear prayer, but also that a miracle is not always the greatest good He gives. John the Baptist did no miracle, yet Christ praised him, and Job showed no miracle before the enemy but showed an endurance firmer than adamant and a life that shone with virtue. The greatest miracle at times is not a change in our circumstances but a change in us, faith that becomes a shield for the whole soul, and love of virtue that remains when wonders pass.

For this reason do not be discouraged if God does not answer at once as you expect. At times Christ did not show His wonders to the multitude because the miracle was too great for their infirmity, and at other times He fed the people only twice with loaves so that they would learn not to seek Him only for what fills the belly, but to cling to the things of the Spirit and to seek Him for Himself. He often works the same mercy again and again, but always in a way that builds faith and leads us to trust Him more deeply.

So I pray for you now. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, hear this prayer. Grant not only what is asked but what is best according to Your wisdom and love. Give faith that can stand like a shield, patience in trial, and a heart that waits upon Jesus and seeks first His kingdom. If it is Your will, show Your power to help and to heal, and in every case work in this life what most leads to salvation and to Your glory. Teach us to love virtue, to endure with hope, and to rest in Your goodness whether You answer with a wonder or with quiet strength for each day. Amen.

Your prayer for a miracle has been heard, and God invites you to bring that need honestly before Him. He is still the God who does what seems impossible to us. Scripture shows Him doing the same kind of wonder again and again, whether through Elijah or through Elisha, or in feeding a hundred men with a small provision and having food left over. He has resources and ways that we know nothing about, and our question is often how will He do it, when His power is not limited as ours is.

What makes prayer effective is not how long it is or how perfect the words sound. The prayers recorded in the Bible are often very short, even a silent cry lifted in a moment. What matters is the heart behind it. Scripture says the fervent, heartfelt prayer of a righteous person avails much, and it often rises out of desperation and deep need. God is not impressed by many words, but by a heart that truly seeks Him.

That kind of prayer begins with relationship. Jesus gave a model for prayer that starts with knowing God as Father. If we have come to Him through Jesus Christ, we can come as His children and talk to Him with confidence. If that relationship has not yet been settled, the one prayer He delights to hear is, God be merciful to me, a sinner. Through faith in Jesus alone we are forgiven and brought into His family, and then the way of prayer is opened.

The purpose of prayer is not to force our will to happen, but to bring our hearts into line with God's will. Prayer moves in a circle. It begins with God's purposes which He makes known to our hearts, we then pray those desires back to Him, and He answers. For that reason prayer also has a listening side. We speak to God, and we wait for Him to speak to us. Sometimes His answer is yes, sometimes it is wait, and sometimes it is no, and later we can look back and thank Him that He did not give us what we thought we wanted, because He saw a better way. That is why we are told to continue in prayer and to watch with thanksgiving, not giving up, staying alert to what God is doing.

Prayer also opens the door for God to do what He has long desired to do for you, without violating the will He has given you. When your heart is in harmony with His purpose, as Hannah was when she prayed for a son, He is free to act in power. So keep bringing this situation to Him. Come honestly, confess any sin that would hinder fellowship, ask for His will above your own, and trust His goodness. He wants to bless His children, to keep His hand upon them and keep them from evil.

You do not need to find perfect words. Come as you are, call upon your Father in the name of Jesus, and trust that He hears. Even a brief, sincere cry from the heart reaches Him. Continue to pray, continue to watch with a thankful heart, and trust Him for the miracle in the way and time that will bring Him the most glory and bring you the deepest good. May He open your eyes to His truth, show you His will, and answer according to His perfect wisdom and love.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for a miracle in your situation. We continue to bring your need before the Lord and ask Him to hear and accept your prayers according to His perfect will and timing. We are reminded in Matt 19:26 that with God all things are possible.

If your request was answered and God has provided your miracle, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name Amen.
