AMEN!

Our God of peace, you have taught us that in returning and rest we shall be saved, in quietness and in confidence shall be our strength: By the might of your Spirit answer this request according to your will, we pray of you, so we may be still and know that you are God; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Thank you for crying out so plainly. When it feels like evil is being directed at you from many directions it is exhausting to carry, and we are glad you brought it to God instead of holding it alone.

We want you to know God does see you and He does take note of what burdens you. You do not have to keep the full account or stay on watch over every person you feel has harmed you. We can leave what is heavy and unresolved in His hands, and ask Him to guard our hearts while He works in His way and timing.

It can help not to walk through this feeling alone. This week would you consider sitting down with one trusted pastor or mature believer in your local church and sharing what you are experiencing, so someone who knows you can pray with you regularly and walk with you. Staying connected in community, in prayer and in the Word, often steadies us when we feel under attack.

Father, in Jesus name we bring our brother or sister before You. You know the weight they feel and every person and circumstance involved. Cover them with Your peace and protection, quiet the sense of being surrounded, and give them rest. Lead them to wise, caring support nearby and help them to rest their case fully with You. Amen.

Your cry under a sense of great wrong has been heard, and you may be assured that nothing escapes the eye of the Lord. He who made heaven and earth sees every hand that has been raised against you, every word spoken in malice, and every hidden design. There is comfort in knowing that your affliction lies not outside the fence of His omnipotent overruling, but within it.

Yet Scripture would teach us to wisely moderate our anger against second causes. Our afflictions may come distinctly from man, as the result of persecution or malice, and yet they may come with even greater certainty from the Lord and be overruled for His own purposes and for our good. He does not merely meet evil with good, but He takes the evil and subjects it to His eternal purpose, bringing forth from it that which results in His glory and the benefit of His children. To know that all your ills lie within His providential government is more hopeful than to think they are independent of His rule.

There is a temptation in such an hour to be overcome of evil, to return evil for evil. That way is natural and it seems like rough and ready justice, but may God deliver us from the nature which makes it natural. To recompense evil for evil does us far more injury than any evil we experience from others, and it does not bear to be pondered before the Lord. The divine method set before us in Romans is to overcome evil with good. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and we are to leave it in His righteous hands, while we seek grace to forgive as we have been forgiven.

Your greatest need and your surest deliverance is found not in the noting of your enemies, but in the voice which cries from the excellent glory, Deliver him from going down to the pit. God has invented a way of deliverance and has found a ransom in His Son. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. That deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it. Christ alone can snap the bands, drag off evil habits, and set the prisoner free.

Therefore let us pray that the Lord will deliver you from this pit, that He will keep you from being overcome, and that He will give you grace to overcome evil with good. May He search your heart, lift this burden, and cause you to live and declare the works of the Lord. Store your mind with His knowledge and His glory, and seek to know the Lord Jesus, through whom we receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among them which are sanctified.

We will join you in praying that the Lord will manifest His righteous judgment in His own perfect way, that He will rescue you from every evil work, that He will guard your heart from bitterness, and that He will bring you into the sunlight of His love where the clouds are removed and the heart rejoices in Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

God sees and hears what has been done to you, and nothing done in darkness is hidden from Him. As Scripture says, the voice of blood cries out to Him, and He is not unaware of injustice or superior to it in a way that ignores it. Your prayer that He would take note is already answered in this, that He is the righteous Judge who sees all things clearly.

At the same time I want to gently turn your heart toward what is most needful for you now. To be afflicted by others is painful, but it is not the greatest evil. The greater evil is to sin in response, to let anger or hatred take root and overturn the soul from its seat. When the heart is in passion it cannot be in tranquility, and it cannot hear its Master clearly. That is why the more excellent deliverance is not only to be rescued from the mouth of the lion, from the ferocity of those who harm us, but to be delivered from every evil work within us, so that we are not overcome by sin while striving against sin.

There is a righteous judgment of God. He will crown those who endure with patience and He will deal justly with those who do wrong, each according to righteousness. The soul that is strong in faith does not live for revenge, but longs first for the crown, for purity and endurance, and leaves retribution to the Lord who judges without error. If we demanded absolute and immediate justice for all, none of us could stand, for we too need His mercy. This is why we entrust judgment to Him.

So let us pray not only that God would see and judge what is evil, but that He would keep you from being harmed in the deeper sense, that He would guard your conscience in peace, and that He would bring justice in His own perfect time and way.

Let us pray together. Father in heaven, You see every person and every deed, and nothing is hidden from Your eyes. We ask You to deliver this Your servant from all evil and from the power of those who do evil. Deliver from the lion's mouth and also from every evil work, from anger, bitterness and the desire to repay. Keep the heart in tranquility and free from passion, that it may follow Christ with a clear conscience. Bring Your righteous judgment in Your wisdom, bring repentance where repentance is needed, and bring healing and protection to the one who has been hurt. Grant strength to endure, to stand against sin and not to be overcome by it, and in the end to receive the crown You promise to those who trust You. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our salvation. Amen.

God does take note. Nothing done against you in secret or in the open is hidden from Him. He sees every person involved and every evil that has been put upon you, and Scripture is clear that He is a God of justice who will deal righteously with it.

It is a righteous thing with God to repay trouble to those who trouble His people, and to give rest to those who are troubled when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels. Those who persist in rejecting Him and in doing evil without repentance will be punished with everlasting destruction, forever separated from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power. That is a solemn and awesome reality, and it shows how seriously God regards injustice.

Because that judgment belongs to Him, you can rest. Rest does not mean the hurt is not real, but it means you do not have to carry the burden of vengeance yourself. You can place every name, every act, every wound before the Lord and trust Him to do what is right in His time. When justice seems turned away and truth seems fallen in the street, He remains the just Judge who will not overlook what has been done.

In times of persecution and pressure, God also does a work in His people. He uses these hard seasons to separate what is real from what is not, to strengthen true faith, and to draw His people closer together in love and support for one another. Stay close to faithful believers who will stand with you, pray with you, and walk in the truth. And if there are influences around you that walk in a disorderly way contrary to the truth you have received, Scripture counsels to withdraw from that path and keep to what is sound.

Above all, keep your hope on Jesus, who was raised from the dead and who delivers us from the wrath to come. Turn to Him, serve the living God, and wait for His Son from heaven. He is your refuge and your vindication.

I pray for you now that the Lord will guard you, give you peace in place of turmoil, uphold you with His presence, and bring His righteous justice to light. I pray also that any who have done evil would come to repentance and find mercy in Christ before that day comes, and that you would be strengthened to stand firm, with faith growing and love abounding, as you rest in His care.
