Beloved of All
Dear God I am asking you to accept my prayers. Dear God, I am asking you to not let me down. Amen.

We hear your heartfelt cry to the Lord, and we join you in seeking His face together. Your words reflect a deep longing for God’s faithfulness, and we want to encourage you with the truth that He will never abandon those who trust in Him. The Bible assures us, "The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth" (Psalm 145:18). You are not alone in your plea, God hears you, and He is already at work in your life, even when you may not see it.

Yet, we must also gently remind you that prayer is not merely a request for God to act according to our desires, but an opportunity to align our hearts with His will. Jesus taught us to pray, "Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10). When we surrender our plans to God’s perfect wisdom, we find peace, even in uncertainty. Have you considered that God may be using this season to draw you closer to Him, to refine your faith, or to prepare you for something greater than you can imagine?

We also want to lovingly address the way you opened and closed your prayer. While you cried out to "Dear God," we must emphasize that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you" (John 16:23). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through His sacrifice that we are reconciled to God. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the foundation of true prayer and the only way to approach God with confidence.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this dear one who seeks Your face. Lord, You are faithful, and Your promises are true. We ask that You would strengthen their faith, reminding them that You are near and that Your plans for them are good. Father, if there is any area of their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, reveal it to them and draw them closer to Your heart. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we also pray that You would open their eyes to the truth of Your Son, Jesus Christ. If they have not yet placed their faith in Him, we ask that You would soften their heart and lead them to salvation. May they know the power of praying in Jesus’ name, for it is through Him alone that we have access to You. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in Your ways and experience the fullness of life that You offer.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or unbelief that may be trying to take root in their heart. We declare that they are Your child, and You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). Give them the courage to stand firm in their faith, even when circumstances are difficult. Surround them with godly believers who will encourage and support them, and use them to be a light for Your kingdom.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God daily through prayer and the reading of His Word. The Bible is our source of truth and strength, and it will guide you in every season of life. If you are not already part of a local church, we urge you to find one where you can grow in your faith and be surrounded by fellow believers. You are not alone, God is with you, and so are we. Keep pressing into Him, and He will never let you down.

We hear the ache behind those words, you’re placing yourself before God and asking Him not to turn away or let you down. Even that simple prayer is itself an act of trust, because you wouldn’t ask if you didn’t believe, somewhere deep down, that God listens and cares. Many of us have prayed just like this, holding our breath and hoping He really hears.

Sometimes it feels like our words just bounce off the ceiling. But God’s ear is never closed. He doesn’t require polished language or certain feelings, He sees the heart that turns toward Him, even when it’s heavy with doubt. When you ask Him to accept your prayers, you’re responding to His own invitation. And when you beg Him not to let you down, you’re being honest, which is the best place to start.

We’ve found it helps to remember that God’s faithfulness isn’t measured by how quickly or visibly He answers. He is steady, and He stays with us in the silence. So keep telling Him exactly what’s on your heart. He can handle your fears and your frustration.

A possible next step: sometimes it helps to tell one other trusted person what you’re carrying and ask them simply to pray with you, knowing someone else is standing with us can make the waiting feel less lonely.

Let us pray for you now:

Father, thank You that You draw near to us even when our prayers feel small or uncertain. Please quiet the fear that You might let this person down, and remind them that in Jesus they are fully known and never rejected. Grant peace that doesn’t depend on getting all the answers right now. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Calling upon God in the day of trouble is an honourable thing, for it confesses that He is, that He hears, and that He is active in the affairs of men. But do not suppose that your prayers are accepted because of their earnestness, or because you plead with God not to let you down. Acceptance is found only through Jesus Christ. There is a year of acceptance open to whoever will come, but God accepts the one who comes in the name of Jesus, trusting alone in the atoning blood. If you come in your own name and righteousness, you have no ground of acceptance. Bring your request through the Mediator.

As to the fear of being let down, God cannot deny Himself. If some do not believe, the covenant of God stands fast. His faithfulness is not made void by our weakness. Delays in prayer are not denials. God's long-dated bills will be punctually honoured. Therefore do not sit down in silent despair and fretfulness, but call upon God in calm faith.

And do not make a god out of your feelings. If you say you cannot trust unless you feel this or that, you trust your feelings more than God's appointed Saviour. Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in Christ. Faith in Jesus is the best quietus for every kind of fear.

Bring your trouble, but bring it under the blood of the Mediator, and rest in the living God. He will not fail the soul whose hope is in His Son. Only trust Him.

You ask God to accept your prayers and not to let you down. Hear this carefully: prayer is not a demand we make of God as though He were on trial. It is the lifting up of the hands as an evening sacrifice, and it must be offered with thanksgiving and a clean heart. If you come before Him while holding enmity or cursing, it would be better to leave your prayer, be reconciled to your brother, and then offer it. The mouth that has touched the holy things must not utter curses or accusations, for those are at war with prayer.

Do not say to God, “Do not let me down,” as if you were testing Him. Christ Himself, when His nature pulled back from suffering, prayed, “Not as I will, but as you will.” That is the pattern for us: not to insist on our own outcome, but to entrust ourselves to the will of God. He is more trustworthy than all, even when you do not see what He is doing. If your prayer is not answered in the way or time you expect, that is not God letting you down; it is often His discipline and His deeper mercy.

So do not despair, and do not be confident in your own demands. Turn to Him earnestly. God is not like man; when you repent, He does not reproach you with the past. Come with a thankful tongue, with a heart reconciled to others, and ask not for your will to be done but for His. That is the prayer He accepts.
