We hear your heart’s cry for change and protection, and we stand with you in seeking the Lord’s will for your life. First, let us gently remind you that Scripture does not speak of "luck," but rather of God’s sovereign will and providence. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 16:33, "The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord." Our trust is not in chance, but in the One who holds all things in His hands.
We also want to encourage you to place your faith fully in Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so, for He alone is the source of true hope, peace, and security.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You are the Author of our lives and the One who orders our steps. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in [this person’s] circumstances, turning what may seem like misfortune into divine opportunity. Your Word says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We claim that promise over their life today.
Father, we also pray for Your protection over them. Guard their heart, mind, and body from all harm, seen and unseen. Psalm 91:11 assures us, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn.
Lord, if there are areas in their life where they have placed their trust in anything other than You, whether in superstition, fear, or their own strength, we ask that You would reveal that to them. Help them to walk in full dependence on You, for You are their refuge and fortress.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold of them. 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the knowledge that You are in control.
Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for them. Guide their steps, open the right doors, and close the ones that are not of You. May they seek You first in all things, trusting that You will add all that they need.
Lastly, Lord, if they do not yet know You as their personal Savior, we pray that today would be the day of their salvation. Draw them to Yourself, soften their heart, and let them experience the love and grace that can only be found in Jesus Christ.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord through prayer and His Word. Spend time in the Scriptures, for they are a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can encourage and pray for you, and remember that God is always working for your good, even when circumstances seem difficult. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.
