We join with you in prayer and stand with you before the throne of God asking for His deliverance and cleansing for you and your immediate family members.

We hear the urgency in your cry to have every evil thing that does not belong removed completely and permanently, and we agree that God is mighty to save and to deliver. Scripture tells us to be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. We also take comfort that you who are in us is greater than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4, and that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

We also notice that your request was made to God but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share why this matters so much to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. To receive deliverance, forgiveness, and the good news of salvation, we must put our faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and call upon His name. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9-10.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We ask for Your mercy and power over this dear one and over each member of their immediate family. Lord, by the authority of Jesus, we ask You to expose and remove every evil influence, every sin, every oppression, every work of darkness that does not belong in them. Cleanse them and make them whole, for if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, with Your peace, and with Your light, for those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1. Let no weapon that is formed against them prosper Isaiah 54:17.

Lord, we also ask that You would replace every evil thing with Your goodness. Let them receive good news that comes from Your hand, news that brings joy and hope. We know that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose Romans 8:28. We ask that You draw them and their family closer to You, that they would seek You daily in prayer and in Your Word, put on the whole armor of God, and walk in obedience to You Ephesians 6:11.

We thank You, Father, that You hear the cry of the righteous and deliver them out of all their troubles Psalm 34:17. We trust in Your complete and permanent victory through the blood of Jesus Christ. Continue to guard their hearts and minds and lead them into the abundant life You have promised. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We hear the urgency in your cry for yourself and for each member of your immediate family, and the deep desire to be free from anything evil and to receive good news. We are keeping you and your family in prayer for that freedom and for God's good work in your lives.

When the burden feels this intense it is understandable to want everything removed at once and permanently. We have found that God both meets us in moments of earnest prayer and also walks with us steadily over time. Staying anchored in simple, faithful rhythms and not carrying this alone can be a real help. If you have a trusted pastor or mature believer nearby, consider sharing this burden with them so they can pray with you face to face and walk alongside you and your family. Continuing in regular prayer, time in Scripture, and fellowship with other believers is a quiet, steady way to stay close to the Lord while He does what only He can do.

Father, we lift this person and their immediate family to You. You know their longing to be clean and free and to walk in what is good. We ask You to guard them, to remove what does not belong, and to fill them with Your peace and presence. Give them wisdom, protection and hope, and lead them step by step into Your will. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Your earnest cry for deliverance has been heard and we will keep you and your immediate family in our prayers before the throne of grace.

There is great comfort in knowing that our God acts from good reasons and that He is gracious. When a soul feels itself near the Pit, a voice comes from the excellent Glory, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. No one would have thought of that way of deliverance if God had not thought of it Himself, and He has not only invented the way but He has found the ransom in His own dear Son. It is a gift of Divine Love. Through that ransom there is deliverance from the guilt of sin and also from the power of sin, for deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from guilt. We tried to kindle a fire with the sparks of our own good works and failed, and we would have remained in thick darkness if He had not delivered us.

We join you now in prayer that the Lord who alone can snap the bands of sin and set the captive free would do this very work in you and in each member of your household. We pray that He would keep back your soul from the Pit and cleanse you from all that does not belong in a temple of the Holy Spirit, that He would deliver you from the power of darkness and translate you into the kingdom of His dear Son, and that He would do the same for your family according to His perfect will. We ask that where evil habit or temptation or the suggestion of the evil one has sought to thrust sore at you that you might fall, the Lord would drag off those bonds and set you free, for with man this is impossible but with God all things are possible. He will regard the prayer of the destitute and will not despise your prayer.

Take comfort that affliction is in the hand of a careful dispenser who will not pour out a drop too much, and that He means not killing but curing when He takes the lancet in His hand. Look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone for both justification and sanctification, trusting wholly in Jesus Christ who is our ransom. May the Lord in His mercy grant you to live and declare the works of the Lord, and may the good news you long for be above all the good news of His saving grace and keeping power made manifest in your life and home. We continue to pray that you will know His peace and be kept from the power of sin, walking in the liberty wherewith Christ makes His people free.

Your urgent prayer for cleansing and deliverance has been heard, and I join my voice with yours before God.

It is right to ask the Lord to remove every evil thing that does not belong in you and in your family. Scripture teaches that Christ came for two great purposes, deliverance from evil and supply of good, and He alone can accomplish both. He descended into death itself and took captive the tyrant, the devil, with death and sin and the curse, and He rose to give us sonship. When we put on Christ and receive the Spirit of adoption, we belong to Him and not to darkness.

The Lord Himself said the ruler of this world has nothing in Him, and that ruler only has power over those who give themselves to him. In Christ you have a different ruler. Therefore we do not pray as those without hope, but as those who know that God both delivers from the lion's mouth and, even greater, delivers from every evil work so that we may stand pure before Him. That deliverance is not only a removal from one place to another, but a quenching of the fiery darts of the enemy by faith.

So I pray for you and for each member of your immediate family by name before the Father:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, who alone is our salvation, cleanse this Your servant and this family completely. Search every heart, bring to light what is hidden, forgive what is confessed, and cast out every evil influence, every habit, every temptation and bondage that does not belong there. Fill what is emptied with Your Holy Spirit, with faith, with a clear conscience that can testify it seeks what pleases You, and with love that grows cold no longer. Guard them with the shield of faith, teach them to turn the weapons of anger and evil desire against the enemy through patience and forbearance, and keep them steadfast and impregnable in Christ. Grant them, according to Your mercy and wisdom, good news that builds up faith and leads to thanksgiving, and above all grant them the comfort that comes from mourning for sin and receiving Your forgiveness, for You repay our small labors with Your great love.

Continue to seek Him daily in repentance, in prayer, in the Scriptures, and in fellowship with faithful believers. Where sin is known, confess it plainly and turn from it. Where there is wound or habit, ask for godly counsel and accountability. God does not only remove punishment but makes blessed those who trust Him, and He will keep you above the floods of sorrow when His comfort comes.

May the Lord who delivered His people before deliver you again, keep you and your household in His Son, and let no evil have a place in you. Amen.
