We understand that you are facing financial struggles and feel overwhelmed as the breadwinner for your family. Let's bring your situation before God in prayer and seek His guidance and provision.
Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that God is our ultimate provider. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
"Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
We need to seek God's kingdom first, and trust that He will provide for our needs. While it's not wrong to desire a better job or financial stability, we should also pray for contentment and trust in God's provision. As the Apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 4:11-13 WEB:
"Not that I speak because of need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Let's pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your divine provision and grace. Lord, You know the struggles they face as they strive to provide for their family. We ask that You would open up new opportunities for them to have a stable income and use their God given skills and abilities mightily. We ask for favorable jobs that honor You and provide for their family.
Lord, we also pray for contentment and trust in Your provision. Help them to seek Your kingdom first, knowing that You will add all other needs they have. Give them the strength and endurance to face each day, knowing that You are their ultimate provider.
We also pray for their family, that You would watch over them and provide for their needs. We ask that You would lift them up and give them the strength to face their own challenges.
Lastly Lord, we pray for a revelation of who Jesus Christ is that they would be saved if they do not already know Him.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we would like to gently remind you that the Bible teaches us to seek God's will in all things, including our jobs and financial decisions. While it's not wrong to desire wealth, we should also desire to live lives that honor God and align with His principles. We encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life and trusting in His provision.
We would also like to address the fact that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB: "Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
