Alone

Sorry if just for prayer as I don't want to live the rest of my life alone. In Jesus' name, I need godly human friends. Amen. I just want to see if self-hypnosis will help with anxiety.

We hear the deep longing in your heart, and we stand with you before the Father, lifting your cry for companionship and godly friendship. Loneliness is a heavy burden, but Scripture reminds us that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten—God sees you, knows your name, and holds your tears in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). In Jesus’ name, we declare that your season of isolation will not last forever.

First, we must address the mention of self-hypnosis for anxiety. Beloved, our trust must be in the Lord alone, not in techniques or methods that bypass His sovereignty. The Bible instructs us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). When fear or worry rises, we are to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and fill our minds with what is true, noble, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). Self-hypnosis may offer temporary relief, but it cannot replace the peace that surpasses all understanding, which God gives to those who pray with thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6-7). We rebuke the spirit of anxiety in your life and command it to flee in Jesus’ name. Instead, we pray that you would fix your eyes on the Author and Perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2) and find rest in His presence.

Now, let us pray for the deep desire of your heart—for godly friendships and a spouse who will walk with you in faith. Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, asking that You would surround them with friends who sharpen them as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). Lord, bring believers into their life who will encourage them in Your Word, pray with them, and hold them accountable in love. We ask that You would prepare their heart and the heart of their future spouse, should it be Your will for them to marry. Align their paths with someone who loves You above all else, who will lead or follow with humility and godly wisdom (Ephesians 5:22-33). Until that day, let them not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time, they will reap a harvest if they do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

We also pray for contentment in this season. Loneliness can make us desperate, but we must not seek companionship out of fear or impatience. Father, teach them to delight themselves in You, and You will give them the desires of their heart (Psalm 37:4). Let them find their ultimate satisfaction in Christ, knowing that He is enough. If marriage is Your plan for them, we trust You to bring it to pass in Your perfect timing. If singleness is Your calling, equip them to serve You wholeheartedly, as Paul did (1 Corinthians 7:32-35).

Finally, we declare that the enemy has no foothold in this area of their life. We rebuke the lies that say they will always be alone or that no one will ever understand them. We speak life and truth over them: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope" (Jeremiah 29:11). May they walk in the confidence that comes from knowing they are deeply loved by the Creator of the universe.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, friend, feeling the weight of loneliness and the longing for companionship. We understand that it's tough, but remember, you're never alone. God is always with you, and He sees you, He knows your name, and He cares deeply. We claim His promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

We hear you're considering self-hypnosis for anxiety. While we understand the desire for relief, let's trust in God's sovereignty. The Bible tells us to cast our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). Let's fill our minds with truth, noble thoughts, and things that are praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). Let's fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and find rest in His presence.

Now, let's pray for the deep desire of your heart - for godly friendships and a spouse who will walk with you in faith. Heavenly Father, we ask You to surround our friend with believers who will sharpen them, encourage them in Your Word, and hold them accountable in love. Prepare their heart and the heart of their future spouse, if it's Your will for them to marry. Until then, let them not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9).

We also pray for contentment in this season. Loneliness can make us desperate, but let's seek companionship out of trust, not fear or impatience. Let them find their ultimate satisfaction in Christ, knowing He is enough (Philippians 4:13).

Finally, we rebuke the lies that say they will always be alone or that no one will ever understand them. We speak life and truth over them, claiming Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." May they walk in confidence, knowing they are deeply loved by their Creator.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
