Almighty God, who alone has given the breath of life, and alone can keep alive in us the holy desires Your Spirit brings. Lord we pray to You, in the name of Your infinite compassion, to sanctify our thoughts and endeavors this day; that we may not begin to act without a pure intention or continue it without Your blessing. Lord, GOD, our greatest desire is to know You and to please You, and to experience all that is Your great love for us; and so determined are we in this pursuit of You, that we have resolved to let nothing stand in our way, even we ourselves! Now, O God, open the eyes of our minds to behold things invisible and unseen, that we may in heart be inspired by Your Divine wisdom, and in work be upheld by Your great strength, and in the end be accepted by You as Your faithful servants. In the matchless name of Jesus the Christ, we do pray and declare it all. Amen.
