Almighty God please heal my hernia

Your cry for healing touches on so many layers of life right now, pain in your body, wounds in your heart, and the weight of uncertainty with the court ahead. I want to encourage you first with this: Jesus sees you. In the Gospels we watch Him enter into houses where there was sickness and grief, and He was never distant from those who suffered. He healed Peter’s mother-in-law, who lay sick with a fever, and that same evening multitudes brought their sick and those oppressed. He bore our infirmities, as Matthew reminds us from Isaiah, taking them upon Himself. So you can come to Him honestly with your hernia, your back pain, and ask for relief. I believe healing is for today, and I believe God works in ways we don’t always understand, sometimes a sudden touch, sometimes a gradual process that is just as divine because He set the body’s own healing in motion. We don’t presume that every prayer results in what we expect, and even Paul lived with a thorn in the flesh he pleaded to have removed. But we trust that Christ’s power is made perfect in our weakness, and we keep asking.

Your grief over losing your girlfriend, whom you’ve shared life with for so long, is heavy. Scripture shows that God’s compassion often moves toward those who mourn. When Jairus’s daughter died, Jesus brought her back, not for her sake, for she was with the Father, but because His heart was moved by the parents’ great sorrow. That same compassion is directed at you. God isn’t indifferent to your tears. Pour out that ache before Him, and let Him meet you in the place of loss. Grief takes time, and healing of the heart can be a slow, deep work.

The court case is another burden. You’ve asked God for all charges to be dismissed. Keep bringing that request before the Lord, but also ask for His will to be done and for His peace to guard your mind regardless of the outcome. He is a God of justice and mercy, and He can work even through systems that feel overwhelming. Let this season draw you closer to Him rather than cause you to pull away. I’ve seen too many people look for a reason to turn back from God when things don’t go the way they’d hoped. Don’t let that happen. Instead, let these trials press you into a deeper dependence on Jesus, for your body, your emotions, and your future.

He is able. Keep your eyes on Him.
