Allow God To Shake You!

(Hebrews 12:26-29) “At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens. The words “once more†indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.â€

Going through some storms? It may be consequences of your own actions or that of someone else. It may be the natural course of events. It may also be your heavenly Father doing a little bit of shaking in order to remove impurities out of your life and heart and purify it. (Psalm 51:10) “Create in me a pure heart and a steadfast spirit within me.†We are human, flesh and the flesh is weak and no one is without sin, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.†When people ignore the gentle whispers of the Almighty and choose to go their own way and even us when we choose our will over God’s, consequence of those actions happen and people get hurt. (Galatians 6:7-8) “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.†When the pains of life happen it will leave scar tissue and cause wrong beliefs, attitudes and perspectives. The trials of life that come your way may not be because of anything wrong that you may or may not have done but simply God’s way of shaking the impurities off. God wants to purify your heart and cleanse you of all iniquities so you will not sin against Him and enslave yourself again. Iniquities are the sins of the heart-the motives in your heart; transgressions are the sin acted upon those motives. When you choose to follow Him we must come with a sincere heart full of humility and submission and allow Him to reveal His way and His truth to us that we may be completely free! (John 8:32) “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.†Sin will keep you enslaved; bound.

The trials you are going through may be to open your eyes and give you the right perspective. You react according to your perspective and beliefs and if they are wrong, then your actions will be as well. Set your heart and mind to receive God’s wisdom and His perspective: (Ephesians 1:17-19) “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in His holy people, and His incomparably great power for us who believe.â€

Allow God to shake you! It is only to purify you and help you to die to the flesh so it does not have control over you. (Galatians 5:16-26) “So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.â€

When God purifies you then you will come forth as gold! (I Peter 1:6-7) “In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.â€

Thanks for this message, we should all as children want to be fit Holy vessels, desirous of the will of our loving Heavenly Father.

God bless you
