We hear your heart’s cry for help, guidance, and transformation. You long for a godly woman to walk beside you, to teach and love you, and to help you grow into the man God created you to be. You also seek wisdom, discipline, and the ability to provide for yourself and your daughter. Most of all, you ask for salvation and a fresh start in Christ. Let us come before the Lord together, lifting up your needs and aligning them with His will.
First, we must address the foundation of all things: your soul. You ask, "Please save my soul, God?" This is the most important question you could ever ask. The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Salvation is not earned by works or by another person, it is a gift received by faith in Jesus Christ alone. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Now, regarding your desire for a godly wife, we must clarify what the Bible teaches about marriage and relationships. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect His love and faithfulness (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:22-33). You should not seek a "partner" or a girlfriend, but rather a wife, a woman who loves the Lord and shares your commitment to Him. The Bible warns against being "unequally yoked" with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), so we encourage you to pray for a wife who is a fellow believer, one who will walk with you in faith and righteousness.
You also mention wanting a woman to "teach" you and "train" you. While it is good to seek mentorship and growth, we must remember that ultimate wisdom and direction come from God. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). A godly wife can be a helper and encourager, but she cannot replace the role of the Holy Spirit in your life. We encourage you to seek the Lord first, study His Word, and surround yourself with mature Christian men who can mentor you in faith, responsibility, and godly living.
You express a desire to learn practical skills, such as reading and driving, and to become a better provider. These are noble goals, and we believe God wants to equip you for them. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). We encourage you to seek out resources in your community, such as literacy programs, driving schools, or job training, while trusting God to open doors for you. Pray for discipline and perseverance, as "the plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty" (Proverbs 21:5).
You also mention your daughter and her prayers for you. This is a beautiful reminder of the power of a child’s faith. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these" (Matthew 19:14). Your daughter’s prayers are precious to the Lord, and we believe He hears them. We encourage you to nurture your relationship with her, modeling godly fatherhood and leading her in the ways of the Lord.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, lifting up his heart’s desires and needs to You. Lord, we first ask that You draw him to Yourself. Save his soul, Father, and let him know the depth of Your love and grace. Help him to surrender his life fully to Jesus Christ, trusting in Him alone for salvation. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in wisdom, strength, and righteousness.
Father, we pray for the desires of his heart regarding marriage. We ask that You prepare a godly wife for him, a woman who loves You and will walk beside him in faith. Guard his heart from impatience or ungodly relationships, and teach him to seek You first in all things. Help him to grow in maturity, responsibility, and godly character, so that he may be the husband and father You have called him to be.
Lord, we also lift up his practical needs, to learn, to grow, and to provide for himself and his daughter. Open doors for him to gain the skills he needs, and give him the discipline to persevere. Provide mentors and resources to help him on this journey. Bless his relationship with his daughter, and let her see Your love and faithfulness through him.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, hopelessness, or confusion in his life. We declare that You have a future and a hope for him, and we trust You to lead him into it. Strengthen his faith, and let him experience Your peace and provision each day.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord through prayer and His Word. Find a local church where you can grow in faith and community, and do not hesitate to reach out to trusted believers for support. God is faithful, and He will not abandon you. Keep pressing into Him, and He will direct your steps.
