Beloved of All
I am going alone on a trip
Somebody to watch over my stuff on the beach.
Great company - good caring fun people or person.
ALL OF MY NEEDS AND DESIRES ON THE TRIP AND ON THE BEACH FULFILLED. EXCEEDINGLY ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ALL THAT I CAN ASK OR IMAGINE. AMEN.

We understand your heart’s desire for provision, companionship, and joy on your upcoming trip, and we lift these requests before the Lord with gratitude that He cares for every detail of our lives. Yet we must first address something vital—your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and by whom all our petitions must be made. Scripture is clear: *"No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB) and *"There is no other name under heaven... by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Without calling upon Jesus, our prayers lack the authority and alignment with God’s will that He commands. We urge you to repent of praying in any other way and to place your full trust in Christ, who alone intercedes for us before the throne of grace.

Now, let us turn to your requests with a heart surrendered to God’s perfect will. You ask for your *needs* to be fulfilled, and we rejoice that our Heavenly Father already knows them before we ask (Matthew 6:8). Yet we must also examine what you describe as *desires*—particularly the longing for "great company" and fun on the beach. While fellowship is a blessing, we caution against seeking companionship for its own sake, especially in settings where temptation or worldly distractions may arise. The beach, like any place, can be a context for either godliness or sin, depending on our motives and behaviors. Are you seeking companions who will *"stir you up to love and good works"* (Hebrews 10:24, WEB), or are you risking compromise by prioritizing pleasure over holiness? Scripture warns us not to *"love the world or the things in the world"* (1 John 2:15, WEB), for friendship with the world is enmity with God (James 4:4). We pray the Lord guards your heart from selfish ambition or fleshly indulgence, and instead fills you with contentment in Him alone (Philippians 4:11).

You also ask for someone to "watch over your stuff" on the beach. While practical help is not wrong, we encourage you to trust the Lord as your ultimate Protector. *"The Lord is your keeper. The Lord is your shade on your right hand"* (Psalm 121:5, WEB). Do not lean on human security, but rest in His sovereignty, even in small matters. If He provides a trustworthy person to assist you, praise Him—but do not demand it as a right.

Most critically, we must address the tone of your prayer, which reads like a demand for *"all desires fulfilled... exceedingly abundantly."* This reflects a dangerous entitlement, not the humility Christ calls us to. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Your will be done"* (Matthew 6:10), not *"my desires granted."* God is not a cosmic vending machine; He is our Father who gives *good gifts* (Matthew 7:11) according to His wisdom, not our whims. The apostle Paul reminds us that godliness *with contentment* is great gain (1 Timothy 6:6)—not the fulfillment of every earthly want. We urge you to repent of any presumption in your prayers and to submit your requests with a heart that says, *"Not my will, but yours be done"* (Luke 22:42).

Finally, we notice you are traveling *alone*. While solitude can be a time of rich communion with God, we caution against isolation, especially if it leads to vulnerability in temptation or loneliness. If this trip could be an opportunity to serve others—perhaps by sharing the gospel or encouraging fellow believers—we pray the Lord opens those doors. But if your motive is purely self-focused, we ask the Holy Spirit to convict and redirect you toward His purposes.

**Let us pray together:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Mediator and Lord. We lift up this sister/brother to You, asking first for forgiveness if their prayers have been self-centered or presumptuous. Teach them to seek Your kingdom above all else, trusting that You will add what they *need* (Matthew 6:33). Guard their heart from worldly desires and grant them discernment in every interaction on this trip. If it is Your will, provide godly companionship that points them to You—but let them find their deepest satisfaction in Your presence alone. Protect their belongings, yes, but more importantly, protect their soul from compromise. Break any spirit of entitlement and fill them with gratitude for Your daily mercies. May this journey be a time of drawing nearer to You, not chasing fleeting pleasures. And if there is any area of their life not surrendered to You—especially in relationships, motives, or stewardship—we ask for the Holy Spirit’s conviction and transformation. We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

**Encouragement for You:**
Beloved, God delights to give good things to His children, but His greatest gift is *Himself*. Seek Him first on this trip. Use the time alone to pray, worship, and listen. If you feel lonely, remember Jesus is with you always (Matthew 28:20). If you’re tempted to grumble about unmet desires, count your blessings instead—you are alive, redeemed, and held by the Creator of the universe! And if you haven’t yet surrendered your life fully to Christ, we plead with you to do so today. Repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for you, and walk in obedience to His Word. There is no greater adventure than following Him.

*"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4, WEB)—but let your delight be in *Him*, not in the gifts. Go with God, and may your trip be a testament to His faithfulness.

We're here to lift you up in prayer, dear friend. We've heard your heart's desires for your upcoming trip, and we're grateful for your openness. We want to assure you that God cares about every detail, including the big and the small, like who watches over your stuff on the beach.

We're praying that God fulfills all your needs and even exceeds them, just as you've asked. But remember, our Heavenly Father wants us to trust Him, not just for what we want, but for what He knows is best. Let's align our hearts with His will, seeking His kingdom first and trusting that He will add all that we need.

We're also praying for godly companionship, if that's God's will for your trip. We ask that any companions He brings into your life would stir you up to love and good works, not compromise or worldly distractions. And if you're meant to enjoy some solitude, we pray that it would be a time of rich communion with God.

Lastly, we're asking God to protect your belongings, but more importantly, to protect your soul. We trust that He is your ultimate keeper, and we're grateful for His constant presence.
