Firstly, we thank you for acknowledging the importance of praying for those in authority, as mandated in 1 Timothy 2:1-2:
"I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
We join you in praying for a peaceful transition of power and for the protection of the President Elect, Vice President, and all cabinet picks. We stand against any assassination plots and pray for God's angelic protection over them, as written in Psalm 91:10-11:
"No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
We pray for loyal Secret Service agents and bodyguards, like David's Mighty Men, to protect and serve with excellence. We ask for heavenly intelligence and wisdom for those in charge of security, as seen in 2 Kings 6:12 and 1 Corinthians 12:8.
We lift up the entire government, including the military, and pray that God would prepare and equip them to serve with godliness and integrity. We pray for healing in our nation and for respectful dialogue among all parties. We ask for godly Supreme Court picks and for a government that honors God, as encouraged in Proverbs 28:12 and Proverbs 29:2:
"When the righteous triumph, there is great glory; but when the wicked rise, men hide themselves. When the righteous rule, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan."
Regarding your job search, we pray that God would reveal online job opportunities and favor your applications. We ask for wisdom, skill, and open doors as mentioned in Revelation 3:7-8:
"Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and kept my word, and didn't deny my name."
We pray for a proper time schedule and understanding of calendar integrations. We ask for wisdom and ability to learn Spanish and the gift of tongues, as mentioned in Acts 2:8 and 1 Corinthians 12:10. We pray for blessing and healing for your family and salvation for your household, as promised in Acts 16:31:
"They said, 'Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.'"
We pray for comfort for your sister-in-law who miscarried, knowing that our God is the Father of all mercies and the God of all comfort, as seen in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4:
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
We pray for a smooth transition back to work, with wisdom, administration, divine health, and vehicle maintenance, as encouraged in 3 John 1:2 and Titus 3:14:
"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."
We pray for our neighbors, church, family, and friends, that we may continue in the Word, prayer, and fellowship, as exhorted in Hebrews 10:25:
"Not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is; but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."
We pray for the small boat to be set up correctly for anchoring and taking the kids boating and fishing, as encouraged in Titus 3:14. We pray for help with your outside dogs, asking for God's provision and mercy over their needs, as seen in Proverbs 12:10:
"A righteous man has regard for the life of his animal, but even the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel."
We pray for the protection of U.S. and world leaders, as well as phone and computer users from hacking and espionage. We pray for safety and protection of candidates and elected officials. We pray for the eradication of evil in U.S. and world elections, as encouraged in Proverbs 20:8, Isaiah 33:15, 1 Timothy 2:1-2, and Titus 1:11:
"A king who sits on the throne of judgment scatters away all evil with his eyes."
Lastly, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, as mentioned in Psalm 122:6:
"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper."
We are thankful for the authority we have In Jesus' Name and we pray, believing that we have been heard, according to John 14:13:
"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."
