All I would ask that you pray for my marriage ...

Dear Lord,

I pray for this marriage to be healed and restored in your name. You have shown us time after time in your Word that you are the God of restoration, healing, and peace. Please visit this family with your Holy Spirit and bring your love, peace and faithfulness. Please heal his wife's mind and spirit and remind her that the man and woman leave their mother and father when they marry and cleave only to each other. I ask your protection and cover over the children involved as well, Jesus, because you have a special place in your heart for them and do not want them to be hurt. You say in your Word that you hate divorce and that is because You love us and do not want us to hurt each other. You also show us that You created marriage to mirror your covenant with your church. Please allow husband, wife and children to turn to You, O Jesus, because You will never steer them wrong. In Jesus' name we pray! Amen.

Prayer warriors, just reposting my prayer from Jan 1. Please continue to think of us, God has been silent.

I would ask that you pray for my marriage and in particular my wife ###. We are both remarried and were joined for less than 3 years. Over the last 11 mos she has left our home 3 times. Each time she has returned back to GA (we live in SC) to return to her mom. (she is 46 years old) Each time there she suffers a major mental breakdown, gets well, then asks to come home. Each time I have taken her back and forgive her. She left in Aug again for the 3rd time. This time I had to file the necessary paperwork for separation. I did this because of the number of times it happened, each time she took cash and property, and finally to protect myself and my 2 children who live with me. We last talked on Nov 4, a week before our temporary hearing. She wanted to come home, I told her I love her, but really needed for her to understand why she was she was getting sick and mostly to understand why she kept leaving. Her mom completely controls her. I am asking for prayers for her, ###, and full restoration of our marriage. Each time she left I have seen God's hand, now I do not. I am scared. My friends say I should be angry, I should be thankful that this is God giving me a way out. I REFUSE to believe either. I am not mad and love her, secondly I do not believe God is giving me an "out" to protect me. Please pray for her. She underwent shock therapy the last 2 mos. All I have heard is her eyes have been opened, but nothing from her or friends. Thanks for prayers. Please ask God to be kind and show mercy on us. ###
