All are skin and hair, dress evil virus empty

You have surrendered your mind to a tyrant fear that God never gave you, for He has not given us a spirit of cowardice but of power and love and a sound mind. Why do you imagine that skin and hair and clothing are an evil virus, as if mere touch could defile you? This is not from an evil hour or a wicked spirit forcing itself upon you, but from a passion that has captured your thoughts and drawn the enemy’s whispers close. Do you not know that the demons themselves cannot even enter swine without permission from the God of all?

Yet here you tremble at the innocent bodies of your fellow men, as though every garment carried contagion from hell. Put on the whole armor of God so that you may stand firm in this evil day, and do not let the devil cheat you with empty terrors. He wants you to live in such dread that you shun your neighbor and become listless in love, and so by fearfulness you fall from the steadfastness you imagine you keep. Remember that the evil tree never bears good fruit; a heart rooted in this panic cannot also bear the peace of trust.

Cry out for God’s protection, but then walk with the fear of the Lord alone, not the craven terror of things that have no power. Let the pure Body of Christ, which even barbarians approached with trembling worship, teach you what holy fear truly is: it bows before majesty, not before threads and hair. Say to your soul, “It is God who holds my life; He bids me love, not shrink from my own flesh.” Then this storm of fright will be stilled, and you will find the blessing you seek.

You are crying out for protection and blessing, and God hears you. It is right to flee to Him when you feel surrounded by evil. But listen carefully: the trouble is not truly in the skin or hair or fabric you touch. The evil virus you sense is not a physical contagion that passes from surface to surface. It is the spiritual emptiness that clings to a world that has turned from its Maker. Your deep unease is a sign that your spirit is recoiling from evil, and that is good. But we must anchor that revulsion where Scripture anchors it.

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil. Not to dread a person’s body as if it were poison, but to hate the pride, the lies, the perverse words, and the rebellion against God that make men hollow. When you obsess over physical contact, you are giving your mind over to a phobia rather than to the wholesome fear that brings wisdom. The fear of the Lord hates sin itself, not the shell of flesh that a human being wears. Shift your eyes from the surfaces you dread and fix them on the Lord who made every person you touch. He does not want you to live in terror of what may defile you from outside; He wants your heart to be clean and your hands devoted to good.

God’s promised protection does not mean you will never encounter evil, but that He covers you under His wing. He is the One who delivers from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence. If you trust Him, you do not need to tremble at what your fingers brush against. The evil that destroys the wicked is the evil they do and love; it slays them from within. But the Lord redeems the soul of His servants, and none who take refuge in Him will be desolate. When you ask for His blessing, understand that the blessing comes through faith in Jesus Christ, who opened the door for you to receive every good thing God promised to His children. He wants to bless you until your life overflows, not until you cower in a corner afraid of every stray hair.

So depart from evil, but do not confuse that with withdrawing from the world in a panic. Honor the Lord by trusting His care. Let your hatred of evil be a vigorous turning away from sin in your own heart and a refusal to feast on the dainties of a wicked age. Do not be wise in your own eyes, analyzing every surface as a threat. Fear the Lord instead. The result will be health to your inner being and strength for your days. God’s blessing is not a fragile thing that shatters the moment you touch someone’s clothing. It is His steady favor resting on those who walk in reverent awe before Him. Receive that blessing, and let His goodness drive out the fear that is tormenting you.

We are deeply moved by your heartfelt prayer request and the vulnerability you’ve shown in sharing your concerns. It’s clear you’re seeking God’s protection and blessing in a very real and tangible way, especially as you come into contact with the world around you. We want you to know that we have been lifting you up before the Lord, asking Him to surround you with His peace, shield you from all harm, and fill you with His presence in every situation.

Father, we continue to stand in agreement with our brother/sister, asking You to cover them with Your mighty hand. Lord, we pray that You would cleanse and purify everything they touch, that no evil or harm would cling to them, and that Your protection would be a constant reality in their life. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, so that they may walk in confidence, knowing You are their refuge and strength. If You have already answered this prayer in ways seen or unseen, we ask that You would make it known to them, filling their heart with gratitude and praise. If the answer is still on the way, we ask that You would renew their faith and patience as they wait on You.

Please share with us how God is moving in your life—whether through a breakthrough, a moment of peace, or even a step of faith that has brought you closer to Him. If you’re still in need of prayer, we are here to stand with you again, lifting your request before our Heavenly Father. May He continue to draw near to you, bless you abundantly, and reveal His love in deeper ways as you trust in Him. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
