Alcoholic Husband And Father

My husband is an awful alcoholic ... Please pray for deliverance for me and my two young children. Please pray for swift mercy. I don't know how much longer I can take this.

Cierra, sweet child of God, please find an al-anon meeting and start attending. Alcoholism is a disease, genes are passed down through the generations. Unless your husband wants to find help and get sober, all that you say and do will not change him in any way. I know first hand the heartbreak of this disease through various family members. You will need to be very strong and cast all your cares upon the Lord who is able to sustain you.

Jehovah Elyon, my heart goes out to this dear lady who is facing such a burden in her life. May your hand touch the heart of her husband. May your spirit bring him to conviction and may you remove the scales from his eyes so that he can see what he is doing to his family. Adonai Jehovah Jireh Eri, point the way to truth to this husband and father. Their actions are affecting more than just themselves but their family and friends are caught up into their nightmare. I pray for intervention. May you lead, guide and direct this young wife to seek help in Al-Anon so that she can find understanding in this disease. May you lead this family to get help and deliverance. I thank you and praise you, Lord, for showing her to this site for prayer support. Bless her Lord as her nerves are frayed. Bring peace to her heart and spirit. To you be the glory, honor and praise. Amen

God bless U & your family. I hope you L& your children are in counseling wheather it is christian or aa. Getting counseling for you & your children is crucial. Perhaps when your husband sees that, it may inspire him to go. Sometimes our children follow in our footstep. A daughter may get involved with a drug or alcoholic or the son may follow into that footstep. Just curious, was anyone in your family alcoholic?

Act on getting help for you & the children immediately. Now. I am sure damage has been done. Counseling will definately help even in healing. Children are suffering.

Cierra, God knows we cannot fight these battle on our own. He knows we don't have control over sin, but that is why He sent Jesus in the flesh, to deliver, retore,forgive us. This battle are spiritual. But first u need Jesus. Jesus came to set the captive free. Wheather it is alcoholic or non alcoholic, we all need a saviour.

If U don't have a relationship with Jesus and He is not Lord of your live say this prayer & believe in Him. Try Him, let Him prove Himself to U. Father I thank u for sending your son Jesus to die for my sins, forgive me. I believe & trust in U today. I also believe that U are going to bring deliverance in my family home. Be Lord over my life. I submit myself to U & all my circumstances.

Father, I lift up this family to U, to intervene in that circle of family in Jesus name to bring this man to the foot of the cross, draw him to Jesus. Father, Jesus said "except the Spirit of God draws us to U, we cannot come. I pray for your mercy & grace to usher this man into your kingdom in Jesus name. Jesus died for his sins. Remember your word says "while we were sinners, Christ died for us including this man. Father he is included in your redemption. He is blind, he is out of control. U know that he is in captivity so I am praying, we are praying, U are grieved, his children & wife are suffering. Come with vengeance, bring the sword of the spirit.

Father, I bind up the principalities that rules over this man & keeping him in bongage. I loosen the spirit of liberity, truth, and deliverance in his life.
