Humble Prayer Partner
greetings from ###!

As I type this prayer request, I am laying in the back of a 2006 Toyota sienna. It is 10:49 PM and bright outside. I am on a hill overlooking the city.

Last night, I got less than two hours sleep as I rolled around on the Toyota floor. It was so hard and uncomfortable. It was also cold, but I had two blankets.

Earlier today, the guy who sold me the van met me at a camper store and loaned me the money to buy a mattress for camping. I spent $### and bought a really good mattress for the back. I am laying on it now.

I was going to sleep, but I decided I need to update everyone and continue to ask for prayers. I get weak and filled with anxiety as I contemplate the new job starting tomorrow..

Another positive of the day was my old Landlord decided to give me the full $### rather than take out for staying an extra four days. I was so thankful for that money as it will help me exist before I get paid at my new job.. Maybe God was working through her to help me.

Yes, tomorrow I start my new job. I will be managing 18 to 30 people once I am fully in place.. To start, I will learn all the positions and be trained some by someone. I’m a little nervous because I’m not sure what I’m supposed to wear. I would just go to work tomorrow and let the current manager tell me.

Last night, I think it got dark for maybe 30 minutes that’s it. It’s ### and this time of year it’s mainly daylight Sleep in the back of a 2006 Toyota sienna.

I did go to the gym and I exercised and then I wash my face and brush my teeth there. I left my stuff in the locker and will go there in the morning to take a shower before going to work for the first day. I’m nervous about my clothes being a wrinkle as I don’t have an iron because I’m in the back of a 2006 Toyota sienna.

Thank you for your prayer prayers. I need strength.. Summer months brings out. Families is going on vacation and kids playing in the streets… I miss my kids deeply and dearly and every time I go to a store or a restaurant, I hear the little voices of kids. It makes me think of mine I miss him terribly.

Please pray for me as I begin my new job tomorrow. I want to do well so that I can have a career. I want to do well so that maybe I can get out of the back of my 2006 Toyota sienna and enter some type of home. Please pray that my family will be reconciled. At this point, it seems impossible, but I know that God is the God of the possible.

Yes, I believe in Jesus Christ. He’s my savior. I’ve obeyed the gospel long ago. Thank you for praying for me. Thank you. Thank you.

Firstly, let's address the anxiety you're feeling about your new job. It's normal to feel this way, but remember what the Apostle Paul told us in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB): "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Let's pray for your anxieties to be replaced with God's peace.

"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our ###. He's feeling anxious about his new job, Lord. We ask that You fill him with Your peace, wisdom, and confidence. Guide him in every step, every decision, and every word he speaks. We pray that You help him to get the proper rest he needs each night and grant him discernment in all things. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Regarding your living situation, we encourage you to trust in God's provision. He knows your needs and He cares for you. As it says in Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB), "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Let's pray for God's provision and guidance in this area.

"Father, we pray for a better living situation for our ###. We ask that You provide him with a home, Lord, where he can rest and be at peace. We pray for Your guidance in his finances, that he may be a good steward of the money he has been given. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We see in your prayers, you are relying on Jesus. This is the only way to God. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6) Only with belief in Jesus Christ as the only way to God will you be able to approach God. You are saved only if you believe in Jesus. This is the most important belief in the Christian faith.

"Father, we pray for our ###'s family situation. We ask, Lord, that You work in a way that only You can, reconciling his family and bringing peace and unity. We pray for his children, Father, that they may know Your love and grace. We ask that You comfort our ### in his longing for his family and give him hope and strength. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue in your faith. We see your honesty in the struggle with anxiety, work, and family. In Hebrews 12:1 (WEB), we're told to "run with patience the race that is set before us."

This is a challenging time, but it's also an opportunity to grow in your faith and relationship with Jesus Christ. Keep trusting in Him, keep obeying His Word, and keep seeking His face. He is faithful, and He will see you through. "Let's therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16,WEB) In Jesus, you have access to God and His grace is available for help.

We are standing with you in prayer, believing that God is working all things together for your good because you love Him and you're called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28,WEB)

"Father, we thank You for our ###'s faith in You. We pray that You strengthen his faith, Lord, and help him to run the race set before him with endurance. We ask that You draw him ever closer to You, Jesus, and fill him with Your love, peace, and grace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
 
Dear friend, we're here with you, praying and believing in the power of Jesus' name. We've heard your heart's cry and we want to encourage you with these words:

"Father, we lift up our brother to you. He's feeling anxious about his new job, but we know that you're a God of peace. Fill him with your peace that surpasses all understanding. We also want to remind you of the promise in Philippians 4:19, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Trust in God's provision. He knows your needs and He cares for you. You're not alone in this.

As you start your new job tomorrow, remember the words of Joshua 1:9, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Go with confidence, knowing that God is with you.

And about your family, we're praying for reconciliation and unity. We're asking God to work in a way that only He can, to bring peace and healing. We're also praying for your children, that they may know God's love and grace.

Keep trusting in Jesus, keep obeying His word, and keep seeking His face. He's faithful and He will see you through. As it says in Lamentations 3:22-23, "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
