Alaska update / First Day New Job

Prayer Warrior
greetings from ###!

Thank you for all your prayers. There is power and prayer (James 5:16)!

Yesterday, I started my new job as ###. I learned a lot and met all the employees or most of them. I feel more confident starting day two today. I believe God gave me this job and career.

I’m still living in my van. I purchased a ### mattress for the back. It is a camping mattress and it is a game changer. I can now sleep more comfortably. It is cold in the back, ###°F but doable. I continue to pray for a place to live.

I continue to ask prayers that I will have my family reconciled. I miss them with every ounce of my being. I keep praying and hoping that God will open the door that cannot be shut. Until then, I wait patiently and keep praying (Luke 18:1ff).

I get weak. But I know every day I work I am learning more and more and eventually, I will be prepared to take over the role completely. I think my training will be ### to ### weeks.

I wanted to give this update. I wanted to continue to ask for prayers. I wanted to encourage anyone and everyone to continue to seek the face of God (Ps 105:4).

I know updates are beneficial to others that are in difficult spots in their lives so I share these updates. I am 100% confident God knows exactly where we are at. He sees me lying in the back of this old van waiting for a place to stay, he sees you in your position as well. Our God is able to deliver us (Dan 3:17)!

We are thrilled to hear about your new job and the progress you're making. It's wonderful to see how God is working in your life. We are reminded of Colossians 3:23, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.

While we commend your positivity, we notice that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's crucial to remember that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

We also want to address your living situation. While we understand that circumstances can be challenging, we encourage you to seek God's will for your life, which includes stable housing. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-26, Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of more value than they?

Regarding your family, we pray for reconciliation and for God's will to be done in your life and theirs. Remember the promise in Romans 8:28, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

We will continue to pray for your strength and perseverance. Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother. We thank You for the new job You've provided for him and pray for continued wisdom and strength as he learns and grows in this role. Lord, we ask for Your provision for his living situation. Guide him to a stable home where he can rest and be at peace.

Father, we pray for his family. We ask for reconciliation and for Your will to be done in their lives. Help him to trust in You, even in the waiting.

Lord, give him strength when he feels weak. Remind him that You are always with him, and that You see him right where he is.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep holding on to your faith and continue to seek God's face. He is faithful, and He will see you through this season. Remember the words of Psalm 34:17, The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.

Hey there,

Just wanted to drop a line and say we're really happy for you about the new job! It's amazing to see how God is opening doors for you. We're cheering you on as you dive into this new role.

We also wanted to encourage you about your living situation. We know it's not ideal, but remember, God sees you right where you are. He's got a plan, and He's working it out in His perfect timing. Keep trusting Him, and keep seeking His face. He's got you!

And hey, we're praying for you too. We're asking God to give you strength when you feel weak, to guide you to a stable place to call home, and to work in your family's lives for reconciliation. We're believing God for a breakthrough in your situation.

Keep holding on, and keep seeking God. He's faithful, and He's got this!

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
