There is power in prayer!

As many of you know, my wife left me a few years ago, and then stole my children. After much prayer, God made a way for me to go back to ###.

I thought for sure, God brought me back here to reconcile with my family. I just surpassed the one year mark and so far I have seen nothing but trials. I have faced almost every difficulty a man could face.

I have lost three jobs due to no fault of my own. I have been homeless. I lived in the shelter for ###.5 months. I lived in my van for ### nights. I currently am living in a ladies basement, which looks like the hull of a ship.

Every day, it is a struggle to live.

God has sustained me. I love God with all of my heart. Yes, I believe in Jesus. My mind and my body aches every day. It’s a pain that’s indescribable.

I am so exhausted. I continue to plead with God to give me a life. I am so tired of everything. I often wish God would just take my life and allow another person to come back from the dead.

Thank God for DoorDash. If it was not for DoorDash, I would be in an awful situation. I am confident God is fully aware of our situation and I trust that in time he will do something to make my life better; I hope.

Thank God for DoorDash. If it was not for DoorDash, I would be in a awful situation. I am confident God is fully aware of our situation and I trust that in time he will do something to make my life better; I hope.

I read the psalms every month. I spend lots of time in God‘s word and lots of time in prayer. Honestly, it seems like God is doing very little to nothing.

I pray and hope for an open door soon. Thank you for praying for me.

We hear the deep sorrow and weariness in your heart, and we are moved with compassion for the trials you have endured. Your faith in Christ, even amid such suffering, is a testimony to His sustaining grace, though we know the pain you carry is heavy. The Scriptures remind us that our Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He sees your tears, your struggles, and the longing of your heart for restoration—not just of your circumstances, but of your soul. You are not forgotten by Him, even when the answers you seek seem delayed or unseen.

We rejoice that you have placed your trust in Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Him alone that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name we boldly approach the throne of grace to find mercy and help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Your devotion to reading the Psalms and spending time in prayer is commendable, for the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit (Hebrews 4:12). Cling to these truths, brother, for they are your anchor in the storm.

Yet we must also speak honestly about the despair that has taken root in your words—the weariness that makes you wish for death rather than life. The enemy of your soul would love nothing more than to steal your hope and convince you that God has abandoned you. But listen to the voice of truth: *"Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence"* (Psalm 42:5). Your life is precious to the Lord, and He has a purpose for you, even in this season of suffering. The apostle Paul himself pleaded with the Lord to remove his thorn in the flesh, but Christ answered, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9). Your weakness is not a sign of God’s absence—it is an opportunity for His strength to be displayed in you.

We also grieve with you over the brokenness of your marriage and the separation from your children. Marriage is a covenant before God, and it is His heart to see restoration where possible (Malachi 2:16). Yet we must submit even this desire to His sovereign will, trusting that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Have you sought godly counsel or legal avenues to pursue reconciliation or visitation with your children? If not, we encourage you to do so, for the Lord calls us to act justly and love mercy while walking humbly with Him (Micah 6:8). If reconciliation with your wife is not possible, we pray the Lord would grant you peace and wisdom to navigate this pain while holding fast to His promises.

As for your current struggles—job loss, homelessness, and the daily grind of survival—we remind you of Jesus’ words: *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘With what will we be clothed?’ … For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:31-33). Your provision has come through unexpected means, like DoorDash, and this is evidence that God *is* sustaining you, even if it feels insufficient. He who fed the Israelites with manna in the wilderness and multiplied loaves for the multitudes is the same God who sees your need today. Trust that He will not abandon you.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift our brother before You, knowing that You are the God who sees and hears the cries of Your children. Lord, his heart is heavy with sorrow, his body weary from struggle, and his spirit longing for relief. We ask You to meet him in this place of deep need. Comfort him with Your presence, as only You can, and remind him that You are near, even when the path is dark.

Father, we pray for his marriage and his children. If it is Your will, soften the heart of his wife and bring reconciliation where there has been brokenness. Open doors for him to be reunited with his children, that he may fulfill his role as their father in a way that honors You. Give him wisdom to navigate the legal and emotional complexities of this situation, and surround him with godly counsel and support.

Lord, we ask for Your provision over his life. You know his need for stable work, a place to call home, and the basic necessities of life. We pray You would open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, providing for him in ways that leave no doubt of Your hand at work. Give him favor with employers, strength for each day, and creativity to steward the resources You’ve given him, like DoorDash, as a temporary means of grace.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of despair that has sought to overwhelm him. Replace his weariness with Your joy, his anxiety with Your peace, and his doubt with unshakable faith in Your goodness. Remind him that his life is not his own—it was bought with a price (1 Corinthians 6:20), and You have a purpose for him that is yet unfolding. Renew his hope, Lord, and let him see glimpses of Your light breaking through the darkness.

Finally, we pray for his spiritual endurance. Strengthen him in Your Word, fill him with Your Spirit, and surround him with a community of believers who can encourage him and walk alongside him. Let him know, beyond any shadow of doubt, that he is not alone—that You are with him, and so are we, his brothers and sisters in Christ.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, who endured the cross for the joy set before Him and now sits at Your right hand, interceding for us. May our brother fix his eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of his faith, and may he find renewed strength to run this race with endurance. Amen.

Brother, we urge you to hold fast. The night is darkest just before the dawn, and God’s timing is perfect, even when it feels delayed. Do not lose heart. Keep praying, keep seeking Him, and keep trusting that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6). We are standing with you in faith, believing that God will turn your mourning into dancing and your sorrow into joy. Stay the course—your Redeemer lives.

Dear friend,

We're here with you, feeling the weight of your struggles. It's like you're carrying a heavy backpack, and it's been a long, uphill climb. We see the strength it takes to keep going, day after day. We're impressed by your resilience and your unwavering faith in Jesus.

We want you to know that even in the darkest nights, God is with you. He sees your tears, He hears your cries, and He knows your heart's deepest longings. He hasn't forgotten you, and He hasn't left you. He's right there, walking beside you, every step of the way.

We're also reminded of the story of the Israelites in the wilderness. They were tired, hungry, and thirsty, just like you. But God provided for them, day by day, manna from heaven. He didn't give them a year's supply at once, but just enough for each day. And He'll do the same for you. Trust that He'll provide, just as He's been doing through unexpected means like DoorDash.

We're praying for you, brother. We're asking God to comfort you, to give you strength, and to reveal His presence to you in a powerful way. We're also praying for your family, that God would bring healing and restoration where it's needed.

Remember, you're not alone. We're here with you, and so is God. Keep trusting in Him, keep seeking Him, and keep holding on. The dawn is coming, and it's going to be beautiful.

Stay strong, brother. We're believing in faith that God is going to turn your mourning into dancing, and your sorrow into joy. Keep the faith, and keep moving forward.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
