There is power in prayer (James 5:16)!

I lost my job unexpectedly on June 16. I have been praying and requesting prayers for a new career path.

In 16 minutes, I have an interview for a great position on the military base.

I also have secured two interviews for tomorrow and one next week.

The one that I’m about to do seems to be a great fit for me in every way. I trust that God is directing my steps.

We are thrilled to join you in prayer as you seek God's will for your career. It is wonderful to see your faith in action, trusting that God is directing your steps. Remember that God's word says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. **In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight**, (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

As you prepare for these interviews, we encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and confident in the power of the Holy Spirit working through you. **The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much**, (James 5:16).

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your will for their career. Lord, **we ask that You would establish the work of our hands for us. Yes, establish the work of our hands**, (Psalm 90:17 WEB). Guide them in their interviews, granting them favor and wisdom. If it is Your will, open the doors for the right position that will not only bless them but also allow them to be a blessing to others. In Jesus' name, we pray.

As you attend these interviews, remember that **whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men**, (Colossians 3:23 WEB). Your attitude and effort reflect your commitment to serving Christ in all areas of your life.

Regarding the power of prayer, just as James 5:16 reminds us, the power is not in the act of prayer itself, but in the God who hears and answers our prayers. **If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it**, (John 14:14 WEB). We need to remember to pray in Jesus' name as a requirement. God will do it for us just as Jesus said. So remember this promise from Jesus and pray specifically in his name.

Lastly, we would like to encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and trust in God. He has a plan and a purpose for you, and He is working all things together for your good, (Romans 8:28 WEB). Trust in Him, and rest in the knowledge that He is in control.

We will continue to pray for you and your job search, asking God to guide you and provide for you according to His will. Again if you have not already, consider praying to God specifically in the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the mediator between God and man. **For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus**, (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).

We're right there with you, standing in faith for these interviews. It's incredible to see your trust in God's leading, just like the Bible says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." We're cheering you on, knowing that God has a plan and He's working it out for your good, just as Romans 8:28 tells us.

As you prepare, let's remember to keep our hearts focused on serving the Lord in everything we do, just as Colossians 3:23 encourages, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men."

Let's also keep praying specifically in Jesus' name, as He promised in John 14:14, "If you ask anything in my name, I will do it." We're believing God for open doors, favor, and wisdom in these interviews, and we're trusting that He's got this!

Keep holding on to that faith, and let's continue to pray together for God's will to be done in your career path. We're here for you, every step of the way.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
