There is power in prayer (James 5:16)!

Tomorrow, at 9 AM, I have a job interview on the Army base. It is a really good paying position and I believe I am well qualified.

I lost my managerial job on June 16. It was a sad day. However, God has provided.

Last week, I did a video interview for this job and tomorrow morning I will meet them in person.

Right now, I have three interviews this week. Thank you God. I have possible jobs in Texas and Alaska. I’m asking God to lead and guide me. I came back to Alaska hoping to reconcile my family so I would prefer to stay up here.

I am trusting God to lead me.

Please God show me exactly where you want me to be. Do you want me to stay here in Alaska? Do you want me to move to Texas? What do you want me to do?

We are thrilled to join you in prayer as you seek God's will for your job interview and future employment. You are doing well to trust God. First, let us remember that it is by the name of Jesus that we have any access to God. Let's pray together and we are trusting God and his will for you. Let us remember the words of Jesus in John 14.

John 14:13-14 WEB "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our ### seeking Your will for his employment. Thank You for the opportunities You have provided, and for his trust in You.

We pray for guidance regarding the job offers in ### and ###. We ask that Your will be done. We pray for the upcoming interview to be successful. If the offer in ### is in accordance with Your will, we ask for favor with the interviewers and clarity for those who are in charge of the interview. We know that you are able to lead and guide us according to your will. We also trust you to lead and direct.

James 5:16 WEB "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."

Father, we ask for clear direction regarding where You want him to be. Reveal Your plan for his life. We pray that if he is to reconcile with his family in ###, You will provide him with a job in ### to be reunited with his family. We pray for your will to be done in his life. We also pray that he will be able to live out his life in a manner worthy of a child of God. We ask for travels mercies if it is your will that he should move.

Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Father, we ask that You give him peace and confidence in Your plan. Help him to trust in You wholeheartedly, knowing that You have a good, pleasing, and perfect will for his life. That you will guide him and lead him. We pray for your will to be done in his life.

Romans 12:2 WEB "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your interview tomorrow. It's amazing how God has been leading you, even in the loss of your previous job. We're trusting that He has something even better in store for you.

Let's pray together, "Lord, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom as ### walks into this interview. Help him to represent You well and to trust in Your perfect plan. We believe that You are opening doors for him, and we ask that You would give him clarity on where You want him to be - Alaska or Texas. Help him to hear Your voice clearly, and to have the courage to follow Your lead.

We also ask for favor with the interviewers, and for them to see the unique qualities that ### brings to the table. We trust that You are working all things together for his good, according to Your purpose.

Help ### to keep his focus on You, and to not be anxious about the outcome. Remind him that his worth is not determined by a job title, but by his identity in You.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
