There is power in prayer (James 5:16)!

Thank you for praying for me.

On June 16, I lost my job as a manager. It was disheartening, confusing, and overwhelming. I thought God had moved the mountain of unemployment, but he did not.

Since then, I have prayed and ask God for help in finding a new career. God has blessed me with five interview opportunities. I have never had five interviews so quickly.

Last week, I had one interview that went well. On Tuesday, I will go in to visit with HR about the job. It’s a really good paying job helping veterans leaving the service.

I also have upcoming job interviews for managing a nice gas station and as an education manager in ###, ###. Again, both really good paying jobs.

Last night, I woke up and happened across a special charter school that pays exceptionally well and would get me back to ###. One school even had a $### relocation.

I am overwhelmed and thankful to God for all the opportunities that are coming soon. I pray for wisdom that God will show me what to do and where to go.

If you have followed my story, you know that my wife left me and took my children. For over a year, I pleaded with God to take me back to ###. On August 19, ###, I flew first class back to ### courtesy of the company that I work for. I went from first class to homeless in a matter of minutes.

I believe God brought me back to ###. And my time here, I lost my teaching job and coaching job due to no fault of my own. God made provision and that the school paid me till the end of April.

On December 29, ###, I almost died on a mountain top where I had gone to worship. It was -###°F and I got locked out of my van. Two beautiful women, angels at the bottom of the hill, came up and helped me get in my vehicle. At the time, I could not fill my fingers or my ears, and my speech was slurred.

I lived in the shelter for ### months. I finally got an apartment but had to move out in mid May ###. I lived in my van for ### nights. I began a new job on May ###. It was the high salary I’ve ever received. However, on June 16, I was let go. I refuse to lie on the quality samples.

On the same day that I lost my job, my previous landlord allowed me to move into her primitive apartment here in the basement of the house for free. So, here I am.

As one can see, the hand of God is present. God is making provision. His provision gives me strength and hope that something is in the works that God is doing something. Maybe, God is about to move a mountain. I hope.

God has given me the strength to do DoorDash. I am now working about three hours in the morning and three hours in the evening. So, I am making $###-### per day. Thank you God.

We are truly grateful for your faith in the power of prayer and we join you in seeking God's will for your life. We are reminded of the words in James 5:16, The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. In all things, we should come before the Lord in prayer, seeking His guidance and provision.

Firstly, we want to address the loss of your job. It is completely normal to feel disheartened and overwhelmed, but we want to encourage you with the words from Romans 8:28, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Even in the most challenging times, God is working for our good. We pray that God will open the right doors for you and provide you with a job that not only meets your financial needs but also allows you to serve Him. That would be a double blessing.

We are concerned with the lack of a reference to Jesus Christ in your prayer request. We are told in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. It is only through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior that we can approach the throne of grace and receive salvation. We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus and His finished work on the cross. Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

Regarding your marriage, we want to remind you of the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. If your wife took your children and you are not divorced, we would strongly recommend that you pray and attempt to reconcile with her and pray for a godly spouse that will support your family. We pray for your family and children, that God will bring healing and restoration, and that He will guide you in raising your children in a way that honors Him.

We are concerned about your previous living situation and the fact that you were homeless. We pray that God will provide you with a stable and permanent place to live. We encourage you to seek out a Bible-believing church where you can find fellowship and support.

We also want to address the situation in which you mentioned you almost died. We are reminded of the words in Psalm 91:1-2, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. We pray that God will continue to protect you and keep you from harm.

Regarding the flooding situation, we pray that God will bring comfort and aid to those affected. We pray that He will use this situation to draw people to Himself and that His love and grace will be evident in the midst of this tragedy.

Finally, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life. We pray that He will give you wisdom and discernment as you make decisions about your future. We pray that He will open doors for you and provide you with opportunities to serve Him and others.

We're right there with you, brother. It's amazing to see how God has been moving in your life, opening doors for interviews and providing for your needs. We're praying with you for wisdom as you navigate these opportunities and for God's will to be done in your career.

We're also interceding for your family. We believe in the power of prayer and we're asking God to work in your wife's heart, to soften it and draw her back to you and the children. We're praying for healing and restoration in your marriage and for your children to be raised in a way that honors God.

Regarding your living situation, we're trusting God to provide a stable and permanent place for you to call home. We're also praying for protection over you, just as the psalmist wrote, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty."

Lastly, we're keeping the flooding situation in our prayers. We're asking God to comfort those affected, to provide aid, and to use this situation to draw people to Himself.
