Alarm going off/son/my scalp

Jesus please let the alarm across the street stop going off it has been going off for hours and i called the company and the police and no one will do anything about it and no one can sleep. Please also let my son go to sleep and clear up ny scalp, i am in so much pain and discomfort. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We join you in bringing these burdens before our Heavenly Father together in Jesus' name, for He hears even the smallest cries of His children and He cares about every detail that disturbs your peace and causes you pain.

We hear how weary you must be from the relentless alarm, the inability to rest, and the worry for your son and for your own suffering with your scalp. It is right to bring even these practical, everyday frustrations to the Lord. We are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And also in 1 Peter 5:7, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

We thank you for coming in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find peace and healing. As it is written in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one and this family to You. Lord, You know the sound of that alarm that has gone on for hours and how it has robbed this household of sleep and peace. We ask for Your mercy and intervention, that You would cause that alarm to cease, that You would move upon the owners or the proper authorities to act swiftly, and that You would restore quiet to this street and to this home. We pray for Your peace to guard this home tonight. We claim Your promise in Psalm 4:8, I will both lay me down and sleep in peace; for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety.

Lord, we also lift up this precious son to You. Children are a heritage from You as You tell us in Psalm 127:3, Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. We ask that You would calm him, comfort him, and grant him sweet and deep sleep. May Your hand be upon him and may he rest securely in Your care.

And Father, we lift up the pain and discomfort of this scalp condition. You see this suffering and You are the Great Physician. We ask for Your healing touch upon this scalp, to clear up what is causing pain and to bring relief and comfort. We trust in Your word in Isaiah 53:5, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. Lord, if it is Your will, bring complete healing, and give wisdom for any medical care that may be needed, and help this pain to subside so rest can come.

We ask that You would give patience and endurance through this trial, and that You would turn this frustration into a testimony of Your faithfulness when You answer. Help this dear one to rest in You even while waiting, knowing that You neither slumber nor sleep as You watch over Your children. We thank You, Jesus, that You hear us and that we can trust You with all these things. We pray all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We can hear how exhausting this night has been with that alarm going for hours, no help yet after calling the company and the police, and both you and your son unable to sleep while you are dealing with so much pain and discomfort on your scalp. It makes sense you feel on edge and worn out when everything is happening at once.

You have already done the right things by reaching out to the company and to the police. For tonight if you are able, closing windows and using a fan or other steady background sound may help soften the noise a little until morning. It can also help to jot down the times you called and what you were told, so you have it ready to share with a property manager, building owner, or the city’s non-emergency line when offices reopen. That log often helps get a quicker response the next day.

Because you mentioned ongoing pain and discomfort on your scalp, we gently encourage you to contact your primary care clinician or dermatologist soon to have it checked in person, alongside prayer and not instead of it.

We are holding you and your son in prayer and we will keep praying for quiet on your street and for real rest for you both.

Father, we lift this tired household to You tonight. We ask for that alarm to be silenced, for peaceful sleep for this parent and for their son, and for comfort and healing for this painful scalp. Your cry in the night has been heard, and we join you in bringing these burdens before the Lord who neither slumbers nor sleeps.

We hear how wearying this is, an alarm sounding for hours across the street with no help from the company or others called, and no sleep for you or for your son, while you yourself suffer pain and discomfort in your scalp. It is a trial that touches both body and spirit, and it is right to tell the Lord plainly of it as you have done.

Our Savior speaks to such weariness, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. This is a present rest, rest now, not only rest after this trial is past, but rest given when we come to Jesus, given there and then. And there is another rest which He teaches us to find as we learn of Him, a rest on the wing, rest in motion, rest in service, even while the yoke is still upon us. When the noise will not cease and sleep will not come, we may still enter into that deeper rest which is found in trusting Him, in laying down our cares gently at the cross and leaving our will settled in His hands. Trust and you shall rest. He is our security for the eternal future and our contentment for the present lot, and that together makes a rest worthy of the sons of God.

We also hear your prayer for healing. The Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree of life were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only His great work but even as it were the leaves, the touches of His grace, are full of healing virtue. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He first said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, showing that pardon and healing are in happy conjunction in His hands. He who bore our sicknesses is still the heavenly Physician, and His power to heal is present to save. We may come to Him for the body as well as for the soul, asking that He would lay His healing hand upon you and ease the pain of your scalp, and that He would give refreshing sleep to your son and to you.

Let us pray with you.

O Lord our God, we come to Thee in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son. Thou knowest the sound that will not cease across the street, and how it has robbed this household of sleep. We ask Thee in Thy mercy to cause that alarm to be silenced, or to move those responsible to do what is right, and if it must continue a little longer, grant a quietness of heart that can rest even amid disturbance. Lord, lay Thy hand upon this dear son, and give him sleep, calm his body and his mind, and let him lie down in peace. Touch also this scalp that is in pain and discomfort, Thou who hast healing in Thy wings, and bring relief and comfort. Give to this weary one that perfect rest which is found in learning of Christ, a deep and abiding rest that the world cannot give and cannot take away. Keep us all under Thy watch through the night, for Thou givest sleep to Thy beloved. We ask these mercies trusting in Thy goodness, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
