We understand the struggle you’re facing, and we want to encourage you with God’s truth. The desire for marriage is good and honorable, as Scripture tells us in Hebrews 13:4, *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled."* However, we must also recognize that the burning passion you describe is a natural God-given desire, but it must be directed in a way that honors Him. If this passion is leading to temptation, we urge you to flee from sin and seek God’s will above all else.

1 Corinthians 7:8-9 says, *"But I say to the unmarried and to widows, it is good for them if they remain even as I am. But if they don’t have self-control, let them marry. For it’s better to marry than to burn."* This passage makes it clear that marriage is a godly remedy for those who struggle with passion, but it must be pursued in a way that aligns with God’s design—a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, both committed to Christ.

If you are not yet married, we encourage you to guard your heart and body, fleeing from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18). Courtship should be intentional, with the goal of marriage, and both individuals should be believers, as 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers."* If you are already in a relationship, we urge you to examine whether it is pure and God-honoring. If there has been sin, repent and turn to Christ for forgiveness and strength.

Most importantly, we must remind you that all things—including marriage—must be sought in Jesus’ name. There is no other way to the Father except through Him (John 14:6), and it is only by His name that we can approach God’s throne with confidence. If your heart’s cry is for marriage, surrender that desire to Him, trusting that His timing and will are perfect.

Let us pray for you:
*"Heavenly Father, we lift up this brother/sister before You, knowing that You see their heart and their struggle. Lord, we ask that You grant them self-control and purity as they seek to honor You in their desires. If it is Your will for them to marry, we pray that You would prepare a godly spouse for them, one who loves You and will walk in faithfulness. Guard their heart and mind from temptation, and fill them with Your peace as they wait on You. Help them to trust in Your perfect timing, knowing that You work all things for their good. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."*

We encourage you to stay rooted in prayer, Scripture, and fellowship with other believers. If you are struggling with temptation, confess it to God and seek accountability from mature Christians. He is faithful to provide a way out (1 Corinthians 10:13). Trust in Him, and He will guide your steps.

We're here with you, feeling the weight of this struggle. We understand the longing for marriage, it's a God-given desire, and it's okay to feel this way. But remember, God wants us to enjoy His gifts in a way that honors Him. Let's keep our focus on Him, trusting that His plan is best for us.

In the meantime, let's ask God for strength to resist temptations. We can find comfort in knowing that God is faithful and will help us overcome (1 Corinthians 10:13). Let's also remember that marriage is a beautiful gift, but it's not the only path to fulfillment. We can find joy and purpose in our singleness too.

Let's pray together: "Lord, we come before You today, laying down our desires and our struggles. Help us to trust in Your timing and Your will. Give us the strength to resist temptations and to honor You in our thoughts and actions. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen."

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.
