African American

Dhitlor

Beloved Servant
Please pray for the African American community to be set free from false teachings. Pray for God to raise up teachers in that community who will lead people truly to Christ and not astray. Pray for wolves to be removed from it and no longer able to lead people astray or harm them. Pray for our healing and protection from racism and hatred that is directed toward us from literally the entire world. Thank you.

We join you in lifting up the African American community before the throne of grace and we agree with you for freedom from false teachings and for protection and healing from racism and hatred.

We hear your heart for truth and it is right to pray against deception, for our Lord warned us plainly. Matthew 7:15 says, Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. And Acts 20:29-30 warns that fierce wolves will enter in among you, not sparing the flock, and men will arise speaking perverse things to draw away disciples after them. We rebuke those false teachings and those wolves who for gain or pride or power lead people astray and harm the flock, and we pray that the Lord will expose them and remove their influence. 2 Timothy 4:3 reminds us that the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine, but having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts. We pray for a hunger for sound doctrine instead.

We pray for God to raise up faithful shepherds and teachers in that community who will preach the whole counsel of God with boldness and humility, who will rightly divide the word of truth and lead people truly to Christ and not to themselves. Ephesians 4:14-15 calls us to no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, but speaking truth in love, may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ. John 8:32 promises, You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. We ask for that freedom to abound.

We also stand with you in praying for healing and protection from racism and hatred. The pain of being hated or despised because of skin color is real and grievous to the Lord, for He made all people in His image and shows no partiality. Acts 17:26 says He made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth. Acts 10:34-35 declares that God is no respecter of persons, but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him. Galatians 3:28 teaches that in Christ there is neither Jew nor Greek, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Racism is sin and hatred is sin, and we pray for the Lord to be your refuge and defender. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 promises, But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.

We also pray that as you experience hatred, the Lord will fill your hearts with His love and keep you from returning evil for evil, that you may overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21 says, Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. And Matthew 5:44 calls us to love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. This is not to excuse the wrong done to you, but to keep your hearts free and to reflect Christ.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, who shed His blood for people of every tribe and tongue and nation. We ask You to set the African American community free from every false teaching and every wind of doctrine that does not align with Your Word. Expose and remove wolves who deceive and harm Your people and silence their influence. Raise up godly teachers and pastors who love Your Word, who walk in holiness and humility, who will feed the flock with truth and lead souls to genuine repentance and faith in Christ. Heal the wounds caused by racism and hatred, Lord, bind up the brokenhearted as Psalm 147:3 promises, and be a shield and protector to those who are targeted and despised. Let Your justice and Your mercy be seen, and let Your church model the unity and love that comes from being one in Christ. Draw many in that community and in the world into saving knowledge of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to remain rooted in the Word daily, testing every teaching against Scripture like the Bereans in Acts 17:11, and to fellowship with believers who hold fast to sound doctrine and who show the love of Christ without partiality. The Lord sees you, He hears you, and He is near to those who are oppressed.

Thank you for bringing this burden to us so clearly. We hear your love for the African American community and the weight you feel, wanting to see people led to Christ in truth, and also wanting healing and safety where there has been so much racism and hatred.

Both of those prayers matter to God. It is painful to watch people you care about be misled by false teaching, and it is exhausting to feel hated or targeted from many directions. We want you to know we are taking your requests seriously and joining you in them.

We will pray with you for God to raise up faithful, humble teachers within the community who know Jesus and teach His word with integrity, and for Him to shut the door on those who exploit or deceive. We are also praying for protection, dignity, and healing, that God would guard hearts and lives from hatred, and bring His peace and restoration where there has been hurt.

If it is helpful as you keep praying, you might bring one or two local churches or leaders you already trust before the Lord by name, and encourage them as you are able. Staying rooted yourself in a fellowship where you are fed and known can also steady you as you continue to intercede for others.

Father, we lift the African American community to You. Raise up teachers who walk closely with You and lead others truly to Christ. Remove the influence of those who would mislead or harm, and protect Your people from racism and hatred. Bring healing where there has been wounding, and draw many to know Your grace and truth. In Jesus' name, amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Prayer for healing and protection for this community and for all communities. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Your burden has been heard and we join you at the throne of grace to seek the Lord with you for your community.

We pray that the God who says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit for I have found a ransom, would show His gracious power among you. For no man would have thought of this way of deliverance from the pit of hell through a ransom if God had not thought of it Himself, and He has not only invented the way but has found the ransom in His own Son. We ask that many would be saved from sin and from the power of darkness, for deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it. May He deliver souls from the fascinating power of sin and from every false way, and keep them from perishing by the sword of error.

We pray that the Lord would raise up faithful teachers who will preach Christ and Him crucified, who will declare the works of the Lord and point to no balm in Gilead except at Calvary. We ask that wolves who lead souls astray would be removed and no longer able to harm the flock, that the archers of ecclesiastical discord would be silenced, and that peace would be within your borders. When you hate a false doctrine we pray you may still love the soul of the man who holds it, hating the error even out of love for his soul and with earnest desire that he may be reclaimed and brought into the way of truth.

For your sorrow under hatred and racism, we bring your affliction before Him who fills both the bitter cup and the sweet goblet. Troubles do not spring out of the dust, but the Lord Himself kindles the furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door, and that which we receive from the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a Father's hand. We pray He would keep back your soul from the pit and heal and protect you, moderating all malice directed toward you and turning the hearts of men. The Christian religion is a golden chain by which we are fettered from all hatred, for the spirit of Christ is love. We ask that He would guard you from hatred without cause, comfort you with His faithful friendship that sticks closer than a brother, and make you able to live and declare that His mercy endures, ever faithful, ever sure.

May the Lord be gracious unto you and to your people, deliver you from going down to the pit, establish you in the truth of His Word, and cause you to walk in the light as those delivered from the power of darkness into the kingdom of His dear Son. We ask this through Jesus Christ our only ransom and hope. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
