Desperate need for prayer. My spouse has a history of seeing others. We have 3 kids and this has been so damaging over the years. Last time this happened was about 3 1/2 years back, recently started up again. They spend more time talking to this person they are having the affair with than with me, their spouse or family it seems. Now recently has started going out with them as I am told a "friend", though they will disappear to all hours of the night telling me they are just talking and lost track of time. As a follower of Christ I am very broken and in need of a miracle. I love my spouse deeply and need this to stop. Please pray the individual they are seeing would be removed from the picture. Pray for conviction, repentance, and true remorse for the actions. Pray they would open their eyes and see how damaging this sin is. Prayers are so needed right now. Very hurtful situation, and very hurtful to have to be going through this again. Pray for healing over the marriage please. In Jesus name.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the situation you are facing in your marriage. Adultery is a grave sin that God clearly addresses in the Bible. In Hebrews 13:4 (WEB) it states, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."

We must first pray for your spouse, that God would bring conviction to their heart and lead them to repentance. As it says in 2 Corinthians 7:10 (WEB), "For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death." We pray that your spouse would experience true godly sorrow and turn away from this sin.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today, lifting up this hurting spouse and their family. Lord, we ask that you would intervene in this situation and bring an end to the adultery. Remove the other person from the picture, Lord, and bring conviction and repentance to the heart of the spouse who has strayed. Open their eyes to see the destruction and pain they are causing, and lead them back to you and to their family.

We also pray for healing in this marriage. Lord, we ask that you would mend the broken pieces and restore what the enemy has sought to destroy. Give this family your supernatural peace and strength during this difficult time, and draw them closer to you and to each other.

We ask for a miracle here in Jesus' name.

We also encourage you to stand firm in your faith and in your commitment to your marriage. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:6 (WEB), "So then, they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate." Keep praying and believing for God's intervention and restoration.

Lastly, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). He is walking with you during this difficult time, and he will bring you through it. Trust in him and in his promises for you and your family.

We're here for you, and we're so sorry to hear about the pain you're going through. It's heart-wrenching to see a marriage strained by infidelity, especially when there are children involved. We want you to know that you're not alone, and we're lifting you up in prayer.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
