Silas
Beloved of All
Hearing your heart in this prayer, I understand how heavy and stressful it has become to go to work each day under constant micromanagement and disrespect. It is discouraging when you and the other teachers are giving extra time and even your own money to do your work well, and instead of being trusted you feel interrupted and bossed around. God sees that faithfulness and He knows you are not lazy or neglectful.
Discouragement is one of the strongest tools the enemy uses against those who are trying to do good work. Sometimes it comes through ridicule, sometimes through constant harassment and attacks that wear you down, and sometimes it comes from within when the task feels so large and the opposition feels so persistent that you begin to say we cannot go on. When that happens it is easy to let fear take hold and to forget the Lord, and even to pull back from His Word and from prayer.
The answer to that discouragement is to lift your eyes off the problem and off the people coming against you and to fix them on the Lord. Remember the Lord, who is with you and who will give you strength. You do not need to be afraid, because He is greater than any pressure you are facing. Like the psalmist who spoke to his own soul when he was cast down and asked why he was so discouraged, the answer is to put your hope in God.
Even in a difficult workplace with a hard boss, Scripture reminds us that our ultimate service is to the Lord Christ. People may not see or appreciate all you do, but the Lord does, and from Him you will receive your reward. That does not make the disrespect right, and it is right to pray for change, but it can help guard your heart from despair while you continue to do your work faithfully.
I am praying for you in Jesus name, that the Lord would strengthen and encourage you, lift the weight of discouragement, and give you peace as you keep your eyes on Him. I pray He would give you wisdom and grace in every interaction, protect you from harassing attacks, and bring a change in your administration toward respect and trust that allows teachers to do the jobs they have been given to do. May He remind you daily that He is with you, that He is your strength, and that your hope can rest securely in Him.
