We hear your excitement and gratitude for the blessings you believe are coming your way today. It is wonderful to see joy and hope expressed, and we join you in thanking God for His provision. However, we must gently remind you that our trust and focus should always be on the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the source of all true miracles and blessings. While material possessions and comforts are gifts from God, they are not the ultimate goal of our faith. Let us keep our hearts centered on Him, seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33).

We notice that your request mentions the "blood of Jesus" at the end, which is a powerful and sacred truth. The blood of Jesus Christ is what cleanses us from all sin and grants us access to the Father (Hebrews 9:14, 1 John 1:7). It is only through His name that we can approach God in prayer, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith fully in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, repenting of sin and trusting in His finished work on the cross for your salvation.

Now, let us come before the Lord together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your goodness and provision in our lives. We lift up this request to You, asking that You would indeed bless this family with the things they need. Lord, we pray that You would provide for their material needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). May they experience Your faithfulness in tangible ways as they trust in You.

Father, we ask that You would guard their hearts from placing too much emphasis on material possessions or worldly comforts. Help them to seek You above all else, knowing that true joy and peace come from a relationship with You. May their home be filled with love, unity, and the presence of Your Holy Spirit. We pray for their family to grow closer to You and to one another, reflecting Your love and grace in all they do.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom in managing the blessings You provide. Help them to use their resources wisely, to honor You with their finances, and to be generous toward others as You have been generous toward them (2 Corinthians 9:8). May their lives be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness.

We rebuke any spirit of materialism or idolatry that might seek to take root in their hearts. May they never love the gifts more than the Giver. Instead, let their lives be marked by gratitude, contentment, and a deep trust in You, knowing that You are their Provider and Sustainer.

Father, we also lift up their plans for travel and vacation. May these times be filled with rest, joy, and opportunities to create lasting memories as a family. Help them to use these moments to draw closer to You and to one another, celebrating the blessings You have given them.

You speak of life coming to your address, of miracles and credit cards, of Dodges and real estate tests, of cat food and portable sinks, of passports and backyard barbecues. I hear a clamor for things, for ease, for the outward comforts that perish with the using. But I must ask you, is this the miracle you truly need? The crowd that followed our Lord desired bread that perishes, but He offered them the Bread of Life. Consider the miracle of the loaves, Christ is grand in emergencies, yet the bounties of Divine Grace are not mere trifles for our whims, but provisions for our deepest need. The greatest miracle is not a filled purse or a patched-up pool shade, but a soul snatched from sin and made alive unto God. Do not mistake the leaves of profession for the fruit of genuine faith: a Christian is himself a miracle, a mass of miracles, wrought by the power that raised Jesus from the dead.

You invoke the blood of Jesus as a charm for every earthly desire. But the blood speaks of atonement, of cleansing from guilt, of reconciliation with a holy God. It is not a magic token to command the world’s goods. That precious blood was shed to redeem you from your sins, not to purchase a Dodge Charger. I fear lest you fall into the snare of those who think gain is godliness. What shall it profit you to gain the whole world and lose your own soul? The miracle you must seek first is the miracle of grace, that your sins, which are many, may be cast behind God’s back, and that your heart, once hard, may be broken and renewed.

You cry, “Family love wins conquers all.” But love that is not rooted in the Truth of God is not the love that conquers all. The unity of the Spirit is a holy unity, not a promiscuous agreement that ignores sin. The world clamors for love without repentance, for inclusion without transformation. But Christ calls us to a unity that is in the truth, a unity that begins with each soul bowing before the cross. Endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, but never the unity of error, which is unity in ruin. Are you yourself spiritual? Have you passed from death unto life? The love that conquers all is the love of God shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost, a love that leads us to holiness and obedience.

Nothing is wrong with praying for daily bread, our Lord taught us to do so. But the disciples learned that Christ is grand in emergencies, not in gratifying every appetite. Lay hold upon this: the God who feeds the sparrows will certainly care for His children in their necessities. But His first order of business is to set your house in order, to uncover family abuses and personal errors, to make you a miracle of repentance. He wants to give you far more than a portable sink; He wants to wash you thoroughly from iniquity. The healing of the soul is immediate, swifter than any earthly cure, when Jesus speaks the word.

Be not like those who, if they saw a miracle, would not believe. Instead, consider the miracle of the loaves and see that Christ is mighty to save. The bounties of Divine Grace are as much for you as for any other, will you receive them? Will you trust Him for your eternal salvation, not merely for temporary trifles? The greatest display of omnipotence is not the provision of outdoor pool covers, but the turning of a great sinner into a sincere penitent. I pray that this very hour the divine voice may reach your inmost soul, breaking every chain of worldliness and setting your affection on things above. That is the miracle worth pleading the blood for, the miracle of a new heart, of peace with God, of a family united under the cross. Seek first the kingdom, and all these things shall be added unto you.

You cry out for a flood of earthly things and call it a miracle, sprinkling the blood of Jesus over desires as though the covenant were a charm to unlock credit cards and backyard luxuries. But the blood of Christ speaks better things than that. It does not clamor for a Dodge Charger or a portable sink; it cries out for the remission of your sins. Without shedding of blood there is no remission, yet many trample that blood underfoot while making provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts. The lust for ease and trinkets is not love, it is a fevered sleep from which you must awake. Jesus suffered outside the gate to sanctify the people with His own blood. Go forth therefore to Him, bearing His reproach, not grasping after the world’s passing shadows. He longs to gather you, as a hen gathers her chicks, but you will not be gathered while your heart runs after these things. Cast off such prayers, and learn to ask only that your soul be cleansed and your will brought into sober obedience.

I hear the excitement and the longing in your words, a whole list of needs and hopes, from a credit card to a Dodge Charger, from cat food to a backyard gathering, all sealed with the blood of Jesus. That’s not just a scattered shopping list; that’s a heart crying out for provision, security, and the warmth of family love. And it’s right that you bring it all to God, because He cares about every detail. When the centurion came to Jesus, he understood authority: just speak the word, and my servant is healed. That’s a faith that trusts God’s power over any situation, no matter how ordinary or overwhelming. So yes, lay all those requests before Him. He made provision under the law for the cleansing of the leper, a miracle that defied nature. He can certainly handle real estate tests, pool tarps, and passports.

But let me gently point to something deeper. In the feeding of the five thousand, the crowd marveled and ate until they were full. Yet Jesus told them later, “You seek me not because you saw the miracles, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled.” They chased after the bread that perishes and missed the true Bread from heaven standing right before them. The greatest miracle God ever works in a life isn’t a financial breakthrough or a new car, it’s the forgiveness of sins, the transformation of a heart, the transfer from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light. Don’t let the pursuit of these good things overshadow the Giver Himself.

You long for family unity, for love that conquers all, for a home filled with laughter and a barbecue in the backyard. That desire is beautiful, and coming from a loving home is a tremendous blessing. But there is a bond in the family of God that goes even deeper than blood. When we are born again into Christ, we’re knit together in a relationship that will outlast every earthly tie. Jesus said that unless we love Him more than family, we cannot be His disciple. Not because family is bad, but because our ultimate security and identity must be anchored in Him alone. So while you pray for passports and vacations, ask the Lord to knit your heart more tightly to His body, the church. There you’ll find a love that can’t be shaken by a denied credit card or a delayed delivery.

The blood of Jesus you’ve proclaimed over everything, that is the foundation. It covers your sin, your shortcomings, your worries. But its primary purpose was to cleanse your conscience from dead works and bring you into a living relationship with God. So as you wait for that address and those Temu packages, let His peace rule in your heart. Thank Him for the physical provisions He will send, but worship Him for the eternal provision He has already made. When the miracles come, and they will, in His way and His timing, don’t forget to glorify Him. But even now, in the secret place where no package has arrived, the miracle of His presence is already yours. That is the one thing that will never fail. May He guide your preparations, give you wisdom, and let His love prevail in every interaction. And may your home, wherever it is, be a gathering place not just for family barbecues but for the life of Christ to be shared.
