Addiction to sports bets and football pool

We are deeply moved by your honesty and courage in sharing such a heavy burden with us. Thank you for allowing us to stand with you in prayer during this struggle. We have been lifting you up before the Lord, asking for His mighty hand of deliverance to break the chains of addiction that have held you captive for so long. We pray that God would fill you with His strength, wisdom, and self-control, so that you may resist the temptation to return to sports betting and football pools. Father, we ask that You would restore hope and provide a way out of the financial bondage that has come as a result of this addiction. Give this dear one the courage to seek help, whether through accountability, counseling, or support groups, and surround them with people who will encourage and uplift them in their journey toward freedom.

We also continue to pray for your brother and aunt, that God would bless them with the resources they need to complete their building project. May He open doors of provision and opportunity, so that their work can move forward, and may He use this season to draw them all closer to Him.

If you have experienced any breakthroughs or moments of victory since your last post, we would love to hear about them—your praise reports encourage us all. If the battle still rages, please know that we are not giving up. We will continue to intercede on your behalf, trusting that God hears our prayers and is at work even now. Keep pressing into Him, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you.
