We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and anxious due to unresolved issues and the desire to act with integrity and urgency. First, let's remember God's word in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let's pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our ### who is feeling overwhelmed and anxious. We ask for Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard her/his heart and mind. We bring the specific issues and agreements to You, asking for Your wisdom and guidance. Help her/him to act with integrity and in Your timing. We rebuke any spirit of desperation and anxiety, trusting in Your faithfulness.
Father, You know the details of the situation, and it is exposed before You. Please give specific clear answers and directions that will be evident as being from You.
We thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayers and we give all glory to You. We thank you for the grace and mercy that you have shown us. We thank you for the salvation of Jesus Christ. Your word says in Acts 4:12 WEB 'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!' and this is the work You have already done for us in Jesus.
So we respond to this request as you have instructed in James 5:16 WEB saying '...pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.' We pray for the petitioner and their request.
As we pray for the specific issues and agreement, we pray that all your children would be unified in your purposes and goals. We pray that they would all understand that it is only in unity with you and each other that we can be effective as your church. We pray that all your children can stand in unity with their Brothers and Sisters in Christ. We pray that you would give us the ability to stand together in unity, support, and love.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen."
Now, let's address the feeling of desperation. In Psalm 46:10 WEB, God tells us, "Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth." When you are tempted to feel desperate, remember to be still, trust God, and know that He is in control and will be exalted.
Also, remember that God's timing is perfect. In Habakkuk 2:3 WEB we see "For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won’t delay." Trust that God will bring resolution in His perfect timing.
Finally, continue to act with integrity, as you have been doing. Proverbs 10:9 WEB tells us, "He who walks in integrity walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out." God sees your heart and honors your commitment to integrity.
Trust in God, wait for Him, act with integrity, and know that He will make a way when it seems there is no way. Continue to cast all your cares on God knowing that you are heard for Jesus' sake.
