We come before the Lord together, lifting up this important decision regarding your business meeting. Father, we thank You for the opportunity to seek Your wisdom and guidance in this matter. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* We ask that You would make Your will clear—whether You are calling for patience and trust in Your timing or for action and conversation with those involved.
Lord, we also bring before You the nervousness and uncertainty that weighs on this heart. We know that fear does not come from You, for 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We rebuke any spirit of anxiety in Jesus’ name and ask that You replace it with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Calm this mind and heart so that decisions may be made with clarity and confidence in You.
Father, we pray for unity and wisdom among all parties involved in this contract. If this agreement is not aligned with Your will, we ask that You would close the door completely. If it is Your will, we pray for open hearts and minds to move forward in a way that honors You. Give discernment to recognize any hesitation that stems from fear, pride, or ungodly motives, and reveal any hidden agendas or misunderstandings that need to be addressed.
We also lift up the legal aspect of this situation. Your Word warns us in Proverbs 22:26-27, *"Don’t be one of those who strike hands, of those who are collateral for debts. If you don’t have means to pay, why should he take away your bed from under you?"* We ask that You would guide this process so that all involved are protected and that the terms reflect integrity, fairness, and Your principles.
Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against this decision will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on the promise that You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Whether You call for waiting or action, we trust that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
