Disciple of Prayer
Pray for me that I will have better social skills and be more articulate in speech! Pray for me that God our Father and Jesus Christ in heaven would bless me with increased use of right and left side of my brain. Pray that they would increase by ### to ### % of brain usage. Pray for me that my comprehension skills would improve by ###%. Pray also my reading capabilities would be recognizably better. In Jesus name pray Amen. I had hyperthyroid disease at birth and ### mini strokes before ### years old and had brain damage and could not do well in school. I only used ### % of my analytic side my brain. I am taking for miracle to use ### to ###% of my left and right side of brain. Transform to what I would have been like had I have not had the problems of childhood!

We lift you up before the throne of grace, dear brother in Christ, knowing that our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children. You have faced significant challenges from birth, and we recognize the weight of your struggles with hyperthyroid disease, mini-strokes, and the resulting brain damage that has impacted your academic journey. But we serve a God who is not limited by our limitations, a God who specializes in turning ashes into beauty and weakness into strength. The Apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."

First, we must address your request with both faith and biblical truth. While we believe in God’s power to heal and restore, we must be careful not to treat Him as a genie who grants our every wish according to our own specifications. The percentages you mention—whether for brain usage, comprehension, or improvement—are not biblical concepts. God does not operate on our terms or according to our numerical expectations. Instead, He works according to His perfect will and timing. We are called to trust in Him, not in measurable outcomes. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

That said, we absolutely believe in the power of prayer for transformation and healing. We pray that the Lord would strengthen your mind, sharpen your comprehension, and help you articulate your thoughts with clarity. We ask that He would restore what has been lost or damaged due to your early health struggles, not because we demand it, but because we trust in His mercy and grace. Philippians 4:13 declares, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." This includes the ability to grow in wisdom, understanding, and social confidence.

We also pray for your social skills, that the Lord would give you the words to speak in every situation and the confidence to engage with others in a way that reflects His love. The Holy Spirit is our Helper, and He can guide you in both speech and understanding. James 1:5 assures us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." We ask that the Lord would fill you with His wisdom, not just for academic success, but for every interaction and relationship in your life.

However, we must also gently rebuke the idea that you are "taking" a miracle as if it were something you could claim or demand. Miracles are not transactions; they are acts of God’s sovereign will. We do not "take" miracles—we receive them by faith as gifts from God. Jesus Himself said in John 15:5, "I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing." Our role is to abide in Him, trust in Him, and walk in obedience to His Word. The transformation you seek will come as you surrender to His will, not as you dictate terms to Him.

We also encourage you to seek practical steps alongside your prayers. God often works through means—through study, practice, and the wisdom of others. If you struggle with speech or comprehension, consider seeking speech therapy, tutoring, or other resources that can help you grow. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Do not despise the wisdom of others or the tools God may provide to help you.

Finally, we pray that you would find your identity and worth in Christ alone. Your value is not determined by your academic performance, your brain’s capabilities, or your social skills. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God has a purpose for your life that transcends any limitations you may face. Romans 8:28 reminds us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose." Even your struggles have a purpose in God’s plan, and He can use them to shape you into the person He has called you to be.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, lifting up his heart and his desires to You. Lord, You know the challenges he has faced from birth, and You see the longing in his heart for transformation and growth. We ask that You would strengthen his mind, sharpen his understanding, and help him to articulate his thoughts with clarity and confidence. Father, we pray for healing—whether physical, emotional, or mental—that You would restore what has been lost and bring wholeness to every area of his life.

Lord, we ask that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit, who gives wisdom, understanding, and the words to speak. Help him to trust in You, not in his own efforts or expectations. Teach him to abide in Christ, to seek Your will above all else, and to find his identity in You alone. Father, we pray that You would open doors of opportunity for him, whether in academics, relationships, or his walk with You. May he grow in faith, in love, and in the knowledge of Your Word.

We also pray for his social skills, that You would give him the ability to engage with others in a way that reflects Your love and grace. Remove any fear or insecurity, and replace it with confidence in who You have created him to be. Lord, we ask that You would surround him with godly counsel and support, with people who will encourage him, challenge him, and walk alongside him in his journey.

Above all, Father, we pray that he would draw closer to You. May he seek Your face daily, meditate on Your Word, and live in obedience to Your will. Help him to trust in Your timing and Your plans, knowing that You are working all things together for his good. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to transform lives and bring hope to the hopeless. Amen.

We're right there with you, praying for your transformation and growth. We understand the challenges you've faced and the improvements you're seeking. Let's ask God to strengthen your mind, sharpen your understanding, and help you articulate your thoughts clearly. We believe in His power to heal and restore, and we trust that He has a purpose in your journey. Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our dear friend in need of Your touch. Lord, You know the struggles they've faced, the brain damage, and the impact it's had on their academic journey. We ask that You would work a miracle in their life, restoring what was lost and bringing healing to their mind and body. Help them to trust in You, to find their identity in You, and to walk in Your will.

We pray for increased use of both sides of their brain, for improved comprehension skills, and for their reading capabilities to be recognizably better. But Lord, we trust in Your perfect will and timing. We know that You work according to Your plan, not ours, and we surrender this situation to You.

Give them wisdom, understanding, and the words to speak in every situation. Help them to engage with others in a way that reflects Your love and grace. Surround them with godly counsel and support, with people who will encourage them, challenge them, and walk alongside them in their journey.

Above all, Lord, we pray that they would draw closer to You. Help them to seek Your face daily, to meditate on Your Word, and to live in obedience to Your will. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your plans, knowing that You are working all things together for their good.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
