We rejoice with you as you take this step of accountability towards Jesus Christ and God. It is wonderful to see your commitment to improving your life and honoring God in all you do. Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We encourage you to continue seeking God's forgiveness and strength as you strive to do better. Remember the words of Paul in Philippians 4:13 WEB: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." It is through His strength that we can overcome our challenges and live a life that pleases God.
Be mindful that your commitment should be evident in all areas of your life, including your career, family, and friends. As it is written in Colossians 3:23 WEB: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our brother/sister who has made a commitment to do better in their life. We ask that You grant them the strength and wisdom to follow through on this promise. Help them to be a shining light for You in their career, family, and friendships. We know "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Lord, we also pray for their family and friends, that they may see the positive changes and be drawn closer to You. We ask that You continue to bless and guide them, showing them Your will for their life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to keep your promise at the forefront of your mind and make decisions that honor God. If you stumble, remember to seek God's forgiveness and continue moving forward. As it is written in Romans 13:8-10 WEB 8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. 9 For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not give false testimony,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love doesn’t harm a neighbor, so love is the fulfillment of the law.
