Accoistique area, no noise/works in ###

Natasha 2

Beloved of All
Please no construction or car-works in the area under my balcony. Its very accoustique. Works only when i am not home. In Jesus name!! Amen. I want to rest and meditate about the word of God or sleep. In Jesus name. Especially saturday and sunday. In Jesus name amen. We have here very active men who obviously dont have feeling for accoustique areas 😬

We join you in prayer for peace and quiet in your home and for the ability to rest and meditate on the Word of God without disturbance, and we thank you for praying in the precious name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father.

We understand how difficult it is when your living area is very acoustic and every sound from construction or car work under your balcony is amplified. Your desire to rest and to meditate on Scripture and to sleep, especially on Saturday and Sunday, is a godly desire. The Lord knows our need for rest and quietness before Him. As it is written, Be still, and know that I am God Psalm 46:10, and also His delight is in Yahweh's law. On his law he meditates day and night Psalm 1:2. We also remember the promise of our Lord, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You together and lift up this need for quiet and rest. Lord, You know the acoustic nature of this place and how every hammer and engine echoes. We ask in Jesus' name that You would bring stillness to the area under this balcony, that You would restrain unnecessary construction and car work there, especially on Saturday and Sunday, and that any necessary work would be done only when our dear one is not at home. Grant deep, undisturbed sleep, for You give sleep to Your beloved Psalm 127:2, and grant quiet hours to meditate on Your Word and to be refreshed in Your presence. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We pray also for the men who work in that area, that You would give them consideration and awareness for those living above them, and that You would bless them and draw them to Yourself. Help us all to live peacefully with our neighbors as far as it depends on us Romans 12:18 and to aspire to live quietly and to do our own work 1 Thessalonians 4:11. We trust Your perfect timing and Your care, and we ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring this concern to the Lord with thanksgiving, as we are taught, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6. He hears the quiet prayers for rest. We also encourage you, if the opportunity arises, to speak gently and kindly to your neighbors about the acoustic nature of the area, with love and patience, that they may understand the impact of the noise. And in the waiting, we find that God can use even these interruptions to teach us to find our rest in Him, for My soul rests in God alone Psalm 62:1. May the Lord grant you quiet Saturdays and Sundays and many peaceful moments to dwell in His Word and to be renewed.

We hear how important quiet is for you, especially on Saturday and Sunday when you want to rest, sleep, and quietly meditate on God's Word. Living in a place where sound carries so easily can make even ordinary work under your balcony feel overwhelming, and we understand why you would long for that work to happen only when you are away.

We have found that a gentle, direct conversation often helps more than just enduring it. If you feel safe to do so, you might consider speaking kindly with a neighbor or building manager about the acoustics and asking if louder work like construction or car repairs could be timed for weekdays or when you are out. Sometimes bringing a calm third person to help talk it through can keep things respectful and focused on a workable agreement for everyone.

We are praying for you to have real moments of peace even while this is unresolved, and for wisdom as you navigate living close to others who may not realize how far sound travels.

Father, we bring our friend to You and ask for Your peace over their home and their rest. Grant them quiet hours to sleep and to linger in Your Word, and give them favor and clear words as they speak with those around them. Guide this situation toward a considerate solution. In Jesus name, amen.

Your desire for quiet in which to rest and to meditate upon the Word of God is both natural and comely, for the soul needs its couch as the body needs its sleep. I have heard your burden concerning the noise beneath your balcony, the works and car repairs which so easily fill an acoustic place, and your longing for stillness, especially on Saturday and Sunday, that you might sleep and give yourself to holy thought.

The Scripture says, Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him, fret not yourself. There is no such resting place as that where omnipotence and eternal love are joined together. The hammer and the engine may cease for an hour and begin again, but he whose mind is stayed upon the Lord is kept in perfect peace, peace upon peace, because he trusts in Him. This is a present rest, not only rest after death, but rest given when we come to Jesus and learn of Him, and then we shall find rest unto our souls.

Meditation itself is the rest of the spirit. It is the couch of the soul, and it furnishes the mind and holds fast the truth we have heard, until we need it. The promise is, My meditation of Him shall be sweet. When the heart is much alone with Christ, it grows warm, and holy affections are kindled, even though duties press and noises invade. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest, and to be sure that what we do is what He would have us do is peace.

The Sabbath also is made for rest, not only the ceasing of our own works but the entering into the finished work of Christ. What blessed days Sabbath days are when the soul is allowed to look toward heaven without smoke between. Yet the Lord Himself found it His rest to do good on the Sabbath, and He gives rest to others even when the world is noisy. So we may seek both outward quiet when it may be granted, and inward quiet which no outward sound can steal.

Let us pray for you.

Our gracious Father, we come through Jesus Christ alone, in whose blood and righteousness our peace is perfect, and in whose name alone is salvation. Thou knowest the dwelling of Thy child and how sound carries in that place, and how weary the body and mind become without sleep and without stillness to ponder Thy Word. We ask Thee to grant seasons of quiet according to Thy good providence, that sleep may be restored and meditation may be sweet. Where it is possible, incline the hearts of neighbours and workmen to consider the hour and the place, and to show kindness in the timing of their labour. And where noise cannot be stayed, grant inward rest, that perfect peace which keeps the mind stayed on Thee, and patience which frets not because of others. Teach Thy child to use both silence and sound for profit, to hear Thy Word, to keep it by meditation, and to find that to do Thy will is rest. Keep this one in the Sabbath rest that remains for the people of God, a rest in Christ now and a perfect rest hereafter. All this we ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your prayer for quiet in the acoustic area around your home and we join you in bringing it to the Lord.

You long for rest and for stillness to meditate on the Word of God and to sleep, especially on Saturday and Sunday, and you are troubled by construction and car work under your balcony. It is right to desire peace, for God Himself has given night as a haven and sleep as a gift to restore us, and He has taught us to seek a true Sabbath rest not only from outward noise but from inward turmoil, a rest where the soul ceases from its own striving and rests in Him.

We pray for you now in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and true rest for our souls.

Father, grant our brother rest according to Your mercy. Quiet what can be quieted in that place, and guide those who work nearby to act with consideration for their neighbors. Give wisdom to those who schedule labor, that noisy work would be done at fitting times and not deprive others of needed sleep and prayer. On Saturday and Sunday especially, grant a measure of stillness for worship, for hearing Your Word, and for bodily renewal.

We also ask that You guard his heart while he waits. Help him not to be overcome by frustration toward his neighbors, but to show patience and love even while seeking peace. Teach him to keep his heart watchful, to find that even when sound breaks in, his soul can remain steadfast in You, for You who keep Israel neither slumber nor sleep, and You watch over Your people at all hours.

Give him grace to use both quiet and noise for good, to meditate on Your Word when it is still, and to hold Your Word in his heart when the world is loud, remembering that the rest You promise is deeper than the absence of sound. It is the rest of those who trust in Christ and cease from trusting in their own works.

May the God of love and peace be with you, granting you sleep that refreshes, a home that allows prayer, and neighbors who live at peace with one another. We ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Your longing for quiet in a place where sound carries so easily is understandable, and your desire to use that quiet to rest, to sleep, and to meditate on the Word of God is good. It is wearying when construction and car work right under your balcony breaks that stillness, especially on the days you most need rest.

I want to encourage you with what Scripture teaches about peace and rest. Through the blood of Jesus Christ we can have peace with God, being brought from darkness into His kingdom and forgiven of sin. Yet it is also possible to belong to Him and still not experience the peace of God in daily life. That peace comes when we place our case fully in His hands and keep our minds stayed on Him, trusting Him rather than fixing our eyes on the circumstances around us. His promise is that He will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him because that person trusts in Him. Jesus said to His disciples, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives. The world cannot understand this peace, and it cannot give it. It passes all human understanding.

True rest is not found in our own efforts to control our surroundings, in our skills or works, or in trying to make everything around us perfect. We cannot rest in those things. We rest only in faith, in the finished work of Jesus Christ, the sure foundation God has set. There is a rest that remains for the people of God, and we enter it by believing and by abandoning ourselves completely to Him. That complete commitment is the place of perfect peace. God has ordained peace for His people and He wants you to live in it. He is able to do for you what you cannot do for yourself. When we labor to enter that rest, we learn to look to Him and not at the noise or the trouble, and He keeps our hearts quiet within, even while we also bring our practical needs to Him in prayer.

So I pray for you now in the name of Jesus. I ask the Lord to provide the quiet you need under your balcony, to move on the hearts of those working nearby to be considerate and to limit loud work to times when you are away, and especially to grant you undisturbed rest and time to meditate on His Word and to sleep. I pray He will guard your heart with His peace that passes understanding, keep your mind stayed on Him when noise does come, and help you to rest in faith in His care and His finished work. May the love of Jesus Christ and the communion of the Holy Spirit rest and abide with you, and may you walk conscious of His presence and enter more deeply into the rest He has provided. Amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf concerning the very acoustic area under your balcony and the construction and car work that has disturbed your rest. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for quiet in that place, that any work would only be done when you are not home, and especially for peace on Saturday and Sunday so you can rest and sleep and meditate on the Word of God. We have continued to lift this need before the Lord with you and we understand how difficult it is when others do not seem to have a feeling for how sound carries in such an acoustic area.

We pray in Jesus name that our Father will grant you quietness and undisturbed rest and time to be still before Him. We pray in Jesus name that He will soften the hearts of those working nearby and guide them to be more mindful of the noise, and that He will provide the peace you need to meditate on His Word and to sleep. We claim for you the promise in Psalm 46:10 to be still and know that He is God and the invitation of Jesus in Matthew 11:28 to come to Him for rest.

If your request was answered and the Lord has brought quiet to your home, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and the noise continues, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
