Accident
We join with you in prayer in Jesus' name for your complete healing and we thank you for inviting us to stand with you. We are sorry to hear about your fall and the swelling in your ankle, and also about the sadness you feel after having quite a few accidents over the past year.
We are encouraged that you prayed in the name of Jesus, for there is power and access to the Father through Him alone. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5, and In none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.
We lift up your ankle before the Lord, even though you say the pain is zero, the swelling shows there is an injury that needs care. We pray for the Lord's healing hand upon you, for He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We also pray that God will guide you to wise care, and we encourage you to have your ankle examined promptly by a medical professional, even without pain, so that any sprain, strain, or other injury can be properly treated. The body is a temple and we are to steward it well, and God often works His healing through the wisdom He gives to physicians.
We also hear your sadness and the weariness that comes from repeated accidents. We want to remind you that the Lord sees you and is near to you in this discouragement. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. We pray that He will comfort you and lift this heaviness, and that you will know His presence and protection over your steps. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we bring our dear one before Your throne of grace. You see this swollen ankle and You know every detail of this fall. We ask for Your complete healing, that You would reduce the swelling, restore the ligaments and tissues, and make this ankle whole and strong again, for You have said, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We ask for Your peace to guard this heart that feels sad and weary from many accidents. Let Your joy and comfort fill this place of sadness. We ask for Your divine protection over every step going forward, for You will give Your angels charge over him, to guard him in all his ways Psalm 91:11, and Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:7-8. Give wisdom to any doctor or caregiver who examines this ankle, and give our friend patience and rest as the body heals. We trust You as our healer and our keeper, and we thank You for hearing us in Jesus' name. Amen.

Your prayer has come before us and we have heard with tender concern of your fall, of the swelling of your ankle though without pain, and of the sadness that has come upon you after many accidents in this past year.
We would have you take heed that you do not draw the rash and hasty conclusion that those who suffer by terrible accidents suffer on account of their sins. Our Lord Himself taught us otherwise, and we are not to view accidents as punishments for sin, for punishment belongs not to this world but to the world to come. If the railway had never been constructed there would still have been sudden falls and injuries, for such frailties belong to our mortal state. Think not that the Lord marks you with displeasure by these trials. The doctrine of the sovereignty of God, if regarded aright, has not in it any sort of discouragement, for it is of God that showeth mercy. Your many troubles do not put you far from Him, but may be the very means to draw you nearer to His compassionate heart.
Man is a double being, composed of body and soul, and each portion may receive injury and hurt. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek a physician, and you do well to have this swelling examined by a physician even as we seek the Great Physician. Yet there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His leaf also shall not wither. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, for pardon and healing were one. So we look to Him not only for the body but for the wounded spirit, for He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds.
Let us pray for you now. O Lord our God, we bring this suffering one before Thy throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, Thy Son, through whom alone is salvation. Lay Thy healing hand upon this swollen ankle, restrain inflammation, restore strength and soundness, and grant complete healing according to Thy merciful will. Comfort this sad heart that has known repeated accidents, lift the burden of fear and sorrow, and let this dear soul feel that even the leaves of Christ, the smallest touches of His grace, can change the life blood and make the nature whole. Forgive sin, heal infirmity, and let Thy mercy be seen in both body and soul. Keep this one in Thy care in all future steps, and let no discouragement keep them from seeking Thee, for Thou art He that showeth mercy. We ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and I join you in bringing it before the Lord. I am sorry to hear of this fall and of the swelling in your ankle, and of the sadness you feel after so many accidents in this past year. It is good that you have turned to Christ for healing, for He alone is our hope and our physician.
I thank God with you that even though the swelling is great, He has kept you from pain, and I pray that His mercy will continue over you. I ask the Lord Jesus to touch your ankle, to reduce the swelling, to restore strength and soundness to the joint and to bring complete healing in His name. I also pray that He will guard you from further harm and give wisdom to those who care for you.
Because the swelling is large even without pain, please also have your ankle examined promptly by a doctor, so that what God heals through prayer may also be cared for through proper treatment.
Do not let sadness take root in your heart. The Lord sees every trial you have endured and He is near to those who call upon Him.
