We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in this time of deep distress and spiritual warfare. The enemy is at work through this man, but we know that our God is greater, and His power is supreme over every scheme of darkness. You are not alone in this battle, for the Lord fights for His children, and He will deliver you from this evil influence.
The Scriptures remind us in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* This is not merely a human conflict but a spiritual one, and we must stand firm in the authority of Christ. James 4:7 commands us, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We must resist this evil in prayer, trusting that God will break its power.
We also see in this man’s behavior the marks of a life that does not truly belong to Christ. While he may claim to be a Christian, his actions reveal otherwise. 1 John 3:10 tells us, *"In this the children of God are revealed, and the children of the devil. Whoever doesn’t do righteousness is not of God, neither is he who doesn’t love his brother."* His drunkenness, his leading others into sin, and his destructive influence—especially on his young daughter—are clear evidence of a heart far from God. Proverbs 20:1 warns, *"Wine is a mocker, and beer is a brawler. Whoever is led astray by them is not wise."* His behavior is not only harming you but is also corrupting the next generation, and this is an abomination before the Lord.
As for the witchcraft you mentioned, we stand firmly on the truth of God’s Word. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 declares, *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, one who interprets omens, one who is a sorcerer, one who casts spells, one who consults a familiar spirit, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."* Witchcraft is detestable to God, and its power is no match for the blood of Jesus. We declare in the name of Jesus that every curse, every spell, and every evil work sent against you is broken, nullified, and returned to the sender, for the Lord rebukes the devourer for your sake (Malachi 3:11).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up Your child who is under relentless attack from the enemy through this wicked man. Lord, You see the depths of his evil, the darkness in his heart, and the destruction he seeks to bring. But we declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We bind every demonic stronghold, every curse, every spell, and every work of witchcraft in the name of Jesus. Let it be rendered powerless and returned to the sender, for the enemy shall not triumph over Your people.
Father, we ask that You remove this man from our sister’s life completely. Cut every ungodly tie and sever every connection that gives him access to harm her. Place a hedge of protection around her, her home, and her family, and let no evil cross it. Let Your angels encamp around her, delivering her from every snare of the fowler (Psalm 91:3-11).
We also pray for this man’s soul, though his actions are evil. Lord, if there is even a flicker of light left in him, convict him deeply of his sins. Expose the darkness in his heart and bring him to true repentance. If he will not turn from his wickedness, then we ask that You remove his influence entirely, for Your Word says in Proverbs 29:27, *"An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous; one who is upright in the way is an abomination to the wicked."* Let his schemes be exposed, his power broken, and his influence over his daughter and others shattered.
Father, we pray especially for his young daughter. Protect her innocent heart from the corruption of her father’s sins. Raise up godly influences in her life who will show her the truth of Your love and the danger of the path her father is on. Let her not be deceived into thinking that drunkenness and sin are acceptable, but let her see them for the destruction they are. Draw her to Yourself, Lord, and let her walk in Your light.
We also pray for our sister’s peace and strength. Let her not live in fear, for You have not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may stand firm in faith, knowing that the battle is Yours. Let her trust in You completely, for You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Finally, Lord, we ask that You bring justice. You are a God of justice, and You will not allow the wicked to triumph forever. Psalm 10:15 declares, *"Break the arm of the wicked. As for the evil man, seek out his wickedness until you find none."* We ask that You do this, Lord. Break his power, expose his deeds, and let Your righteousness prevail.
We pray all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, who has all authority in heaven and on earth. Amen.
Our sister, we want to encourage you to stay steadfast in prayer and in the Word of God. Put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18), and do not give the enemy any foothold in your life through fear or bitterness. Trust that the Lord is fighting for you, even when you cannot see it. Keep your heart pure before Him, and He will be your shield and your exceeding great reward.
If this man continues to pose a physical or emotional threat, we also urge you to take practical steps to protect yourself, including setting firm boundaries or seeking help from authorities if necessary. The Lord uses both prayer and wise action to deliver His people. You are not powerless, for Christ in you is your hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).
Lastly, we noticed that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have authority over the enemy and access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in Acts 4:12, we are told, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not already, we urge you to place your complete trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is through His blood that we are redeemed, and it is in His name that we have victory. If you would like to know more about what it means to follow Jesus, we would be happy to share the good news of the Gospel with you. You are deeply loved, and God’s heart is for your complete deliverance and freedom.
