We are truly sorry to hear about the abuse you've endured, and we want you to know that you are not alone in your struggle. First and foremost, we want to remind you that your identity and value are rooted in Jesus Christ. As it says in Ephesians 2:10 WEB, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them."
The trauma you've experienced may have left you feeling confused about your feelings towards others, but remember, God can heal and restore all things. As it says in Psalm 34:18 WEB, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Regarding the relationships you've had in the past and the desire for marriage, it's crucial to align with biblical principles. Marriage, as designed by God, is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman; we encourage you to seek mentorship and guidance from mature Christian women who can help you navigate these feelings and find healing.
Homosexual relationships are not endorsed in the Bible and are considered a sin. It is important for you to find help in this area.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 WEB says "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God. Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God."
Healing and restoration are possible through Jesus Christ. He can give you peace with the God the Father so you will have the strength to overcome this.
You did not mention Jesus or even hint at belief in Him. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can come to God the Father.
Acts 4:12 WEB says "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Jesus has a special place in His heart for you. Turn to Him, trust Him, and surrender your life to Him.
Let's pray together:
Dear Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up this precious soul who has experienced tremendous pain and confusion. We ask, Lord, that You heal the wounds of the past and restore what has been broken. Help them to find their identity in You and guide them towards mentors who can walk alongside them in their journey of healing and growth. Give them strength to overcome, the mind to discern and choose what is right, and a heart to always love and follow you. We also pray that they will come to trust in the saving power of Jesus' name and come to know Him as their personal Savior.
In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to seek professional Christian counseling to complement the spiritual support you receive. This can provide a safe space for you to process your emotions and learn to build healthy relationships. Remember, God has a plan and a purpose for your life, and He is always with you.
