We are truly sorry to hear about the prolonged abuse you have experienced. First, we want to address the idea of a curse. The Bible tells us that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us (Galatians 3:13 WEB). So, we can rest assured knowing that in the name of Jesus Christ we no longer live under a curse. We live under the blessing and promises of God.
Therefore, we encourage ### to understand that God has not cursed you but instead has blessed you.
It is also important to note that God allows us to go through trials and tribulations, not to harm us but to refine us and draw us closer to Him. Consider the words of Romans 8:28 WEB "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Even in the most difficult circumstances, God can bring about good. God did not cause the trials, but He can use them.
Satan is the enemy here, not God. Jesus tells us, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." (John 10:10 WEB). We need to recognize the work of the enemy.
Furthermore, it's crucial to pray and seek God's protection and guidance. Let's pray together:
"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up our dear sister/brother who has experienced far too much abuse and harassment. We stand against the works of the enemy and declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper in the name of Jesus (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We pray for Your divine protection and guidance over their life. Help them to discern and avoid those who seek to harm them. Surround them with Godly people who will support and encourage them in their walk with You.
We also pray for healing from the past hurts and for forgiveness to flow through their heart, remembering that You have said, "But if you don’t forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your failings." (Mark 11:26 WEB). Help them to forgive not because the abuse was acceptable but because You have called us to live in peace.
Mighty God, we claim your promises and blessings over their life. Where there has been pain and suffering, let there be restoration and joy. Equip them with the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:11 WEB) so that they can stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
Finally, we ask You to guide them into a saving faith if they have not yet accepted it. That they would understand that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we find are able to approach God.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to seek support from fellow believers and professionals who can help you establish boundaries and protect yourself from further abuse. Remember, it is not God's will for you to live in constant harassment and pain. Trust in Him, and He will make a way.
