We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother or sister who is enduring the trial of absence seizures. We know this journey has been long—two years of uncertainty, fear, and physical struggle. But we declare that our God is the Great Physician, the One who heals and restores. In Jeremiah 30:17, He promises, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We stand on this promise today, believing that God sees your suffering and is already at work in your life.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we ask You to touch our brother/sister with Your healing hand. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and every attack of the enemy against their mind and body. We speak life and wholeness over their brain, commanding every seizure to cease in Jesus’ mighty name. Lord, grant them wisdom to seek the right medical care and discernment in their treatment. Surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, reminding them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also want to gently remind you, dear one, that your healing is not just physical but spiritual. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. If you are already a believer, we encourage you to draw near to God in this season, trusting Him even when the path is difficult. His grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
We also pray for your emotional and mental well-being. The weight of this condition can feel overwhelming, but God is your ever-present help. Cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Lean on your church family, share your burdens, and allow others to support you in prayer and practical ways. You are not alone in this fight.
Lastly, we declare that this trial will not define you. God has a purpose for your life, and He will use even this for His glory. Hold fast to His promises, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). We stand with you in faith, believing for your complete healing and restoration. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
