We understand that you're facing a challenging situation with your health and finances, and we're here to support you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement. We're grateful that you've acknowledged the power of Jesus' name in your request, for it is in His name that we have access to God and can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Firstly, let's address the anxiety and depression that you and others are feeling. God's Word tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB). We know that it can be challenging to keep our minds on God's peace when facing trials, but He is faithful to guide us through them. Psalm 43:5 (WEB) says "Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him: my Savior, my helper, and my God."
Remember, we are children of a loving Father who cares for us. Romans 8:28 (WEB) tells us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Even in the most challenging situations, God can turn things around for our good and His glory.
We are praying together that God will grant you favor and wisdom in your upcoming doctor's appointments and your meeting with the financial counselor. We ask God to guide you and provide a clear path forward regarding your debt. We rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that may be tempting you to see bankruptcy as the only option. Instead, we pray that God will open doors for provision and wise counsel. "Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands" (Psalm 90:17 WEB).
Regarding the injustice that you see around you, we are encouraged in the Psalms to put our trust in God, who is the ultimate judge. Psalm 37:1-2, 5-6 (WEB) says, "Don't fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither like the green herb... Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing health and financial challenges. We ask for Your healing touch on their body and Your wisdom to guide them through their financial struggles in Jesus name. Grant them favor in their upcoming appointments and provide a clear path forward. We rebuke any spirit of despair and hopelessness and ask that You fill them with Your peace and hope in Jesus name.
Father, we also lift up all those who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and doubt in Jesus name. Comfort them with Your love and guide them to Your truth. We ask for Your justice to prevail against those who inflict injustice on others in Jesus name.
In all things, Father, we ask that You be glorified. We trust in Your love and faithfulness. We pray for Jesus Christ to be the Lord of our lives and we pray for the salvation of those who do not know Jesus Christ. We thank you for sending your son Jesus Christ to be crucified and raised from the dead for our sins. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and can be saved. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
