We hear your heart and we join you in lifting this burden to the Lord together in Jesus name. We thank God that you are a born again believer in Jesus and that you have placed your fear in the Lord and not in man or in the enemy, and that you are keeping faith even in this long separation. We stand with you for protection, for restoration, and for God to be glorified in your marriage.
We understand you are separated from your wife after many years together and that you have not seen or heard from her in almost months because of interference, jealousy, manipulation, and controlling behavior from her sister and her former relationship. We also hear that your wife has been vulnerable and was used for her money in the past and that you stepped in to protect her and help her recover what was taken, and since then there has been lying, false accusations, stalking, confusion, and attempts to divide your marriage. You also discern that witchcraft and evil practices are being used against you. We take these things seriously and we bring them before the Lord.
Scripture tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. The enemy comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy, but Jesus said I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly John 10:10. We do not fear witchcraft or curses because we know that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4 and no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17. There shall not be found with you anyone who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer Deuteronomy 18:10, and we rebuke every work of darkness, jealousy, manipulation, and witchcraft that has been directed at you and your marriage in the name of Jesus.
We also affirm what you said that what God has joined together, let no man separate Mark 10:9 and What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate Matthew 19:6. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman before God, and we strongly affirm God’s desire for marriage to be protected, honored, and restored when it is under attack. Your desire for reunion, reconciliation, and restoration is a godly desire when it is for your wife in holy marriage, and we pray with you for that restoration and for God to heal what has been broken.
We also encourage you not to return evil for evil but to trust God with justice and to pray even for those who have mistreated you and your wife. You shall love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. Vengeance belongs to the Lord Romans 12:19. We encourage you to remain in prayer, in the Word, and under the covering of a faithful local church and pastoral counsel, and where there is stalking, false reports to police, or exploitation of a vulnerable person, to also seek wise and lawful protection and godly counsel, for God is a refuge and strength Psalm 46:1 and The Lord will be a high tower for the oppressed Psalm 9:9.
We are also praying for your finances and your health, for the Lord knows the enemy has attacked you there as well. Our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 and He says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We pray that the Lord will keep you steadfast, for we know Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8 but Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, covered by the blood of Jesus. We thank You for our brother and for his faith that remains though he has been pressed on every side. Lord, You see his wife, You know where she is, You know her heart and her vulnerability, and we ask You to place a hedge of protection around her and around our brother. Hide them under the shadow of Your wings Psalm 91:1. Let no scheme, no lie, no jealousy, no witchcraft, no stalking, and no manipulation prosper against them. Scatter every plan of the enemy that seeks to divide what You have joined together. Lord, expose the darkness and bring it to nothing, for You are light and in You is no darkness at all 1 John 1:5.
Father, we ask for reconciliation and restoration of this marriage if it is Your will, and we pray that You would open a door for godly communication to be restored between husband and wife, that You would soften hearts, remove confusion, and lead them back together in love, forgiveness, and truth. Give them wisdom to establish healthy boundaries and, if it is Your will, to move away from that environment that has brought so much harm, that they may dwell in peace. Heal their finances, Lord, restore what the enemy has stolen, and touch our brother’s body and health and bring strength and renewal. We know that You work all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28.
Lord, we also pray for the sister and the former relationship who have acted in jealousy and evil, that You would bring conviction, repentance, and salvation through Jesus, and that they would no longer have influence to harm. Help our brother to walk in love, patience, and forgiveness while standing firm in righteousness and not in fear, for The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe Proverbs 29:25. Keep him strong in faith, daily in Your Word and prayer, and surround him with godly men who will encourage him and hold him accountable.
We declare that what You have brought together no man can truly separate, and we trust You to make a way where there seems to be no way. We thank You that You hear our prayer because we ask in the name of Jesus, for there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and through Him we have access to You Ephesians 2:18. Let Your will be done in this marriage and in these lives, and let Your glory be seen. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast, brother. Continue to fast and pray as the Lord leads, stay in the Scriptures daily, guard your heart from bitterness, and keep trusting that God is able to reunite and restore. Keep seeking wise counsel from mature believers and pastors who can walk with you through this separation, and keep praying not only for your wife’s return but for her spiritual protection and growth. God sees, God hears, and God is faithful.
