God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). In times of sickness, we can trust that He is with us and that He has the power to heal us according to His will.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up our dear friend who is experiencing terrible abdominal cramps. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon their body. Grant them relief from their pain and discomfort, and guide them to the medical help they need.
Father, we also pray for Your protection over their life. Surround them with Your angels and keep them from all harm and danger. Help them to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, even in this time of discomfort.
Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in their life. If it is Your will, grant them good health and restore their strength. Give them the grace to endure this trial with patience and faith.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

So it is good to acknowledge Him and pray in His name. For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13 WEB). Heavenly Father, you are Jehovah Rapha, our God who heals and restores us and we are grateful for your healing touch! We thank you so much for your love for us. We pray now that you will make your healing hand known as we lift this person and their healing needs to you. Lord, please begin the healing process and give this person the strength and patience to follow you and allow them to walk through this period with continual thanks and praise to you.
