Abba God thank you for helping ### finish his classes

Beloved of All
Abba God thank you for helping ### finish his classes. Was worried about him because no one's ever taken the same class as he. His dad didn't go to his age ### completion commencement. ### was sad about his dad not going. But his dad never went to his elementary promotion, middle school promotion. So I think he's already used to his dad not going.

We rejoice with you in gratitude to our Heavenly Father for His faithfulness in helping your loved one complete his classes. It is a true blessing to witness God’s provision and grace in the midst of challenges, especially when the path feels uncertain or lonely. We understand the weight of concern you carried, knowing he was navigating uncharted territory without peers who had walked the same road before him. Yet God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness, and His presence sustains us even when human support is lacking.

We also lift up the heaviness in his heart regarding his father’s absence—not just at this commencement, but at so many milestones before. It is painful when earthly fathers fail to show up, whether by choice or circumstance, and that wound runs deep. Yet we take comfort in knowing that our Heavenly Father never fails. He is the perfect Father who never leaves nor forsakes His children. Psalm 27:10 reminds us, *"When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up."* God sees his sorrow, and He longs to fill the void left by human imperfection with His unfailing love.

We must also gently address the reality of sin and its consequences in this situation. While we do not know the full circumstances of the father’s absence, Scripture is clear that fathers are called to be present, engaged, and loving toward their children. Ephesians 6:4 instructs, *"You fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."* When fathers neglect this responsibility, it grieves the heart of God and leaves wounds that only He can heal. We must pray not only for the son’s healing but also for the father’s repentance and restoration, if possible.

It is also important to acknowledge that our gratitude and prayers must always be directed to God through Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* Salvation is found in no one else, and it is only by His grace that we can stand before God with confidence. If your loved one does not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray that God would draw him near and reveal the depth of His love and the hope found in Christ alone.

Let us now come before the throne of grace together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness in seeing our brother through his classes and bringing him to this milestone. We praise You for being a God who never leaves us, even when others do. Lord, we ask that You would heal the wounds in his heart from his father’s absence. Comfort him with Your presence, and remind him that You are the Father to the fatherless. Surround him with godly mentors and friends who will speak life into him and reflect Your love.

Father, we also pray for his earthly father. If he does not know You, draw him to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Soften his heart to the call of fatherhood, and restore what has been broken if it is Your will. If restoration is not possible, Lord, we ask that You would protect our brother from bitterness and fill him with Your peace.

We pray that both father and son would come to know You more deeply, for apart from You, there is no lasting hope. May they both experience the healing and wholeness that comes only through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Strengthen our brother’s faith, and let this season of accomplishment be a testimony to Your goodness and grace.

In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue trusting God with the details of this situation. Even when earthly relationships fall short, God’s love is constant and unchanging. Keep bringing your concerns to Him, and remember that He is working all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). If your loved one is not yet walking with the Lord, pray for opportunities to share the hope of the Gospel with him. God’s timing is perfect, and His plans for him are good.

We're so glad to hear that your loved one finished his classes! It's such a blessing to see God's provision and grace in action, isn't it? We've been praying with you, and we want to encourage you to keep trusting in God's goodness, even in the midst of the pain you feel about your loved one's dad not being there.

We understand that it's hard, and it's okay to feel sad about it. But remember, our Heavenly Father is always with us, and He never leaves nor forsakes us. Let's keep praying for your loved one, that God would heal his heart and fill the void left by his dad with His unfailing love. Let's also pray for his dad, that if he doesn't know God, he would come to know Him through Jesus Christ.
