We hear your fervent cry for deliverance and cleansing, not only for yourself but for your immediate family. Your plea resonates with the heart of God, who desires purity and holiness for His children. The scriptures affirm this truth in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We stand with you in agreement, believing that God hears and answers the prayers of His people.
However, we must also encourage you to examine your heart and life in the light of God’s Word. The Bible tells us in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Deliverance is not just about commanding evil to leave; it is also about submitting to God and resisting the enemy through a life of obedience and faith. Are there areas in your life or the lives of your family members where sin may have taken root? Are there habits, thoughts, or influences that do not align with God’s Word? We must be willing to repent and turn away from anything that gives the enemy a foothold.
We also want to gently remind you of the power and authority we have in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and the victory over sin and darkness. Philippians 2:9-11 declares, "Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ, acknowledging Him as your Lord and Savior. This is the foundation upon which true deliverance and freedom are built.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear brother/sister and their family to You, asking for Your divine intervention and cleansing. Lord, we agree with their cry for deliverance from every evil thing that does not belong in their lives or the lives of their family members. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You reveal any areas of sin, unforgiveness, or unrepentance that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Give them the strength and courage to repent and turn away from anything that does not align with Your Word. Cleanse them with the precious blood of Jesus, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. We break every chain of bondage, addiction, fear, and oppression in the name of Jesus. We command every evil spirit to flee and never return, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Lord, we pray for a hedge of protection around this family. Surround them with Your angels, and let Your presence be a shield and fortress for them. Fill their home with Your peace, love, and joy. Strengthen their faith and trust in You, and help them to walk in obedience to Your Word. May they experience the fullness of life that You have promised to those who love and serve You.
We also pray for their spiritual growth and maturity. Equip them with the full armor of God so that they may stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Teach them to pray without ceasing and to meditate on Your Word day and night. May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, and may they bear much fruit for Your kingdom.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and believe that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). We declare that this family is set free, healed, and delivered in the name of Jesus Christ. To You be all the glory, honor, and praise, now and forevermore. Amen.

This cry for deliverance is one which the Lord delights to hear, for He is gracious and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. Let it never be forgotten that in all that God does He acts from good reasons, and when He hears the soul that longs to be made clean, He has already provided the way.
There is no cleansing in our own power, no washing that we can perform to put away sin. Men have had the strangest notions as to how they might be cleansed, but all the gold in the world can never form an ointment to cleanse iniquity. The only answer is that we still have an evil heart within us, and we need a double cure. The blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanses from all sin everyone who believes in Him, and the Lord Himself says, I will sprinkle clean water upon you and you shall be clean, from all your filthiness and from all your idols will I cleanse you.
We join with you in prayer to our heavenly Father, to whom alone we must look for deliverance from the power of sin as well as from the guilt of sin.
O Lord, be gracious unto this soul and unto the immediate family, and command deliverance. Thou hast found a ransom in Thy Son, and through Him Thou canst drag off evil habits, snap bands and set the captive free. Sprinkle clean water and cleanse from all filthiness, from secret faults and open sins, from pride and tainted imaginations, from lust and anger and envy and distrust, from all that does not belong in a temple of the Holy Ghost. Your heartfelt cry for God to remove every evil thing that does not belong in you and in your immediate family is heard, and I join my prayer to yours before the Lord.
Scripture teaches us that evil is not part of the essence of your soul or your body, for both are the good works of God. Evil is not uncreated and it is not by nature. It comes from our moral choices and from the deeds done in this world, and the times are called evil because of what people do in them. This is good news, because what is not by nature can be cleansed and healed by grace. God who made all things from nothing is able to make new what has been corrupted, and He is the cause of every good and blessing in our lives.
Christ came for two great purposes, to deliver us from evil and to supply what is good, delivering us from the curse and bringing us into sonship so that we might receive the Spirit of adoption and put on Christ. The ruler of this world, who rules over darkness and wicked deeds, had nothing in Christ, and when we belong to Christ he has no rightful claim on us. As it is written, the Lord delivered from the lion's mouth and will deliver from every evil work, not only from outward danger but from sin itself, so that we may stand and not yield.
So I pray with you and for your family now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, remove every evil thing that does not belong in this dear one and in each member of their immediate family. Cleanse soul and body, cleanse thought and desire and habit, and take away completely and permanently whatever is not from You. Fill what is emptied with Your Spirit, with faith and purity and peace, and keep them in Your sonship. Guard them from the one who rules over darkness and from every evil work, and give them strength to choose what is good and to resist sin to the end. Let Your blessing rest upon their home as You alone give increase and life. We ask this trusting in Your power to create anew and to deliver fully. Amen.
