We hear your cry for forgiveness, and we join with you in seeking the mercy and grace of our Heavenly Father. The Word of God assures us that "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). It is beautiful that you have come before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and repentant hearts. We acknowledge that we have sinned and fallen short of Your glory. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness, knowing that You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We thank You for the precious blood of Jesus Christ, which was shed for the remission of our sins. Father, we ask that You create in us clean hearts and renew right spirits within us. Help us to walk in Your ways and to live lives that are pleasing to You. Strengthen us to resist temptation and to flee from sin. We pray that You would fill us with Your Holy Spirit, guiding us into all truth and empowering us to live holy and righteous lives. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart. Remember the words of Jesus, "Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you" (Matthew 7:7). God is always ready to forgive and restore those who come to Him in true repentance.
Let us also remind you of the importance of walking in the light, as He is in the light. "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin" (1 John 1:7). Keep your heart pure and your mind steadfast on the Lord, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you.
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).
