We join with you in lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance, knowing that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. The Scriptures remind us in **Ephesians 6:12**, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* You have done well to call upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and no other authority by which demons flee.
The Word of God assures us in **James 4:7**, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* And in **1 John 4:4**, we are reminded, *"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world."* You are not powerless—you are a child of the Most High God, and the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in you. Demons have no authority over those who belong to Christ, for **Colossians 1:13** declares, *"He delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love."*
Yet we must also examine our lives to ensure there are no open doors for the enemy. Are there unconfessed sins, involvement in occult practices, unforgiveness, or willful disobedience to God’s Word? **2 Corinthians 2:10-11** warns us, *"Now I also forgive whomever you forgive anything. For if indeed I have forgiven anything, I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the presence of Christ, that no advantage may be gained over us by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his schemes."* Repentance and renouncing any sin or ungodly ties are critical in closing doors to demonic influence.
Let us pray together with authority and faith:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You have given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall in any way harm us. Lord, we lift up Your child who is crying out for deliverance. By the blood of Jesus, we command every demonic spirit, every satanic attack, and every ungodly attachment to be broken and cast out now. We bind the strongman and plunder his goods, for Jesus has already disarmed the rulers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.
Father, fill this beloved one with Your Holy Spirit, sealing every breach and closing every door that has been opened to the enemy. Let the fire of Your presence burn away every trace of darkness, and let the light of Your Word expose and destroy every hidden work of the enemy. We declare freedom, healing, and restoration in every area of their life—spirit, soul, and body. Let them walk in the fullness of their identity in Christ, unshaken and unharmed, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind.
We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, will, and emotions, breaking every demonic assignment against their peace, joy, and faith. Let every lie of the enemy be replaced with the truth of Your Word. Father, surround them with Your angels, encamping around them for protection, as it is written in **Psalm 34:7**, *"The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them."*
We thank You, Lord, for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ. Let this beloved one experience Your deliverance in a tangible way, and let them testify of Your goodness and power. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them walk in the freedom for which Christ has set them free. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray, **Amen.**
Stand firm in this deliverance, beloved. **1 Peter 5:8-9** exhorts us, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings."* Clothe yourself daily in the full armor of God (**Ephesians 6:10-18**), and walk in obedience to His Word. If you have not already, we encourage you to seek out a spirit-filled, Bible-believing church where you can be surrounded by fellow believers who can pray with you and support you in this season.
Do not fear, for the Lord is with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you (**Deuteronomy 31:6**). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (**Hebrews 12:2**), and walk in the victory that is already yours through Him. If you feel led, share with us how the Lord moves in this situation, that we may give Him all the glory!
