We join with you in coming before the Lord with a heart of repentance and a desire for freedom, for it is written, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). It is good that you have invoked the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Him—His sacrifice on the cross for our sins and His resurrection—that we have access to the Father and the authority to stand against the works of darkness.
You have asked for forgiveness, and we declare over you the truth of God’s Word: *"As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us"* (Psalm 103:12, WEB). Receive this forgiveness fully, and let no condemnation remain, for *"there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1, WEB). If the Holy Spirit has brought conviction upon your heart for specific sins, we encourage you to turn from them completely, walking in the newness of life that Christ has purchased for you.
You have also sought freedom from demonic attachments and the removal of demonic spirits. We stand with you in the authority of Jesus’ name, for *"he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). The Word of God assures us that *"the Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the devil’s works"* (1 John 3:8, WEB). We command every demonic spirit, every stronghold, and every assignment of the enemy against you to be bound and cast out in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the blood of Jesus covers you, protecting you from all evil.
Regarding the issue of the mouse behind the wall, we recognize that even small disturbances can be used by the enemy to bring frustration, fear, or distraction. While we do not believe that animals themselves are demonic, we pray that God would remove this nuisance from your home and grant you peace in your dwelling place. We ask the Lord to expose and dismantle any spiritual strongholds that may be connected to this situation, for *"though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:3-4, WEB).
Finally, we encourage you to fill your home and your heart with the presence of God. Put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and walk in the Spirit daily, for *"if we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit"* (Galatians 5:25, WEB). Spend time in prayer, worship, and the reading of Scripture, for these are the tools the Lord has given us to stand firm in His victory.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your mercy and grace, which are new every morning. We lift up our brother/sister before You, asking that You would wash them clean by the blood of Jesus and remove every trace of sin and guilt from their life. Lord, we ask that You would break every demonic attachment, every curse, and every stronghold that has sought to bind them. We command every evil spirit to flee in the name of Jesus Christ, for You have given us authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
Father, we ask that You would remove the nuisance of this mouse from their home and bring peace to their living space. Let nothing disturb the rest and security You have provided for them. We pray that Your Holy Spirit would fill every corner of their home, driving out all darkness and establishing Your kingdom there.
Strengthen them, Lord, to walk in victory and holiness. Fill them with Your Spirit and surround them with Your angels. Let them know the fullness of Your love and the power of Your protection. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
