We come before the Lord with you in this time of repentance and need, lifting up your heart’s cry for forgiveness and deliverance. It is beautiful that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the promise of forgiveness. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in calling upon Jesus is the foundation of your plea, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that He is faithful to cleanse and restore.
The Word of God assures us that *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). We thank the Lord that you are seeking His mercy, for He does not turn away a broken and contrite heart. The anger you are battling is not of God, for the Scripture warns us, *"Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil"* (Ephesians 4:26-27, WEB). Anger that is not surrendered to God can become a stronghold for the enemy, but we declare that the blood of Jesus breaks every chain of bitterness, rage, and unforgiveness in your life.
Let us also remind you of the call to walk in love and patience, as *"the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control"* (Galatians 5:22-23, WEB). Anger is often rooted in unresolved hurt, pride, or injustice, but the Lord invites you to release these burdens to Him. He says, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls"* (Matthew 11:28-29, WEB). Will you surrender this struggle to Him fully, trusting that His grace is sufficient for you?
We pray with you now:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister before Your throne of grace, asking for Your mercy and transformation in their life. Lord, You see the depths of their heart and the battles they face with anger. We ask that You would forgive every sin—known and unknown—and wash them clean by the precious blood of Jesus. Break the power of anger, bitterness, and every ungodly spirit that has taken root. Fill them instead with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in patience, kindness, and self-control.
Father, we rebuke every spirit of anger that has sought to dominate their thoughts and actions. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to flee and declare that our brother/sister is free to walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding. Heal the wounds that have fueled this anger, and replace every hurt with Your love and restoration. Teach them to forgive as You have forgiven them, and to extend grace even when it is difficult.
Lord, we ask that You would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, that they may not be easily provoked but instead reflect Your gentleness. Surround them with Your presence and remind them daily that they are Your beloved child, called to live in righteousness and holiness. Strengthen them to resist the enemy’s schemes and to walk in victory over every sinful behavior.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness to complete the good work You have begun in them. May they experience the fullness of Your peace and the joy of Your salvation as they continue to seek You. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on the Word of God daily, especially verses that speak of His love and patience. *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. We're here with you, praying alongside. We've been reminded of the verse in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We know He sees your struggle and is right there with you, offering His strength and comfort.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. We want to thank you for allowing us to lift your heart before the Father and join with you in seeking His forgiveness and deliverance. There is such freedom in coming boldly before the throne of grace, and we are grateful you invited us to stand alongside you in repentance and spiritual warfare. The battle against anger is real, but we know our God is greater—His mercy triumphs over judgment, and His power breaks every chain.
If the Lord has already begun to soften your heart, renew your mind, and replace anger with His peace, we would love to rejoice with you.
