We come together in agreement with you, lifting your heart before the Lord, for He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. It is written in 1 John 1:9, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* What a precious promise we have in Christ Jesus! There is no sin too great that His blood cannot wash away, and no burden too heavy that He cannot lift. We praise God that you have come before Him with a repentant heart, for He delights in those who seek His mercy.
Yet we must also remind you—and all who read this—that forgiveness is found *only* in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through faith in His sacrificial death and resurrection that we are reconciled to God. If you have not already surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9). This is not merely a prayer of words but a transformation of the heart—a turning from sin and self to follow Christ wholeheartedly.
Father, we thank You for the gift of forgiveness through Your Son, Jesus. We lift up this precious soul before You, asking that You would cleanse them thoroughly from every sin, known and unknown. Search their heart, O Lord, and reveal any area that needs repentance, that they may walk in the fullness of Your freedom. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to live a life that honors You. Let them know the depth of Your love and the joy of a clear conscience before You. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and guard their heart against the enemy’s accusations. May they walk in the confidence of Your forgiveness and the hope of eternal life with You.
We also pray that You would surround them with godly community—brothers and sisters in Christ who will encourage them, hold them accountable, and point them ever closer to You. Let them never take Your grace for granted but live in grateful obedience, for You have called us to be holy as You are holy (1 Peter 1:15-16).
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
